Hi Warren,
Did Kone get it to work? I can't remember.
Anyway, my post was just to let Werner know that he had company,
Because out of 2433 people on the forum I don't think too many replicated your feat, lol
Gee, a sunny 12C here today and Winterpeg had a balmy minus 1 C... spring is on the way!

Hi Warren
What was it Dmitri did that you replicated and it worked for you too?
Do you mean the series-transformer experiment on run cap phase of RV?
Or the keshe plasma generator think in plastic bottle (another Dmitiri?)
The Dmitri I know (AKA Ivanovd his handle on EVGRAY) replicated the Ismael Repelling force
I remember this and all photos and video and circuits saved in files....

Hi Ron
I got some OU out of a series transformer using a small 1/2hp RV motor, but you know what the next day it went back to no-OU so will have to say I was unsuccessful. At least got the effect of lowering draw when heavy load is applied.
Warren has the magic touch I think....his load of a DC boat motor maybe helps also his little invertor was very efficient plus maybe he got lucky with the transformer inductance whatever....
Also you could say Tom McKay was successful, as he doubled-up the series transformer to be coming out of two motors with shafts locked together, and then stepped down to 24V and charged batteries running the invertor and looped it like that.

Hi DougYes, the series transformer on the cap phase, I think I learned from Dmitre.I might be wrong, but he had some interesting success with it first.I had the apparatus, so then I gave it a try. It seemed to work for me.As you know, it took me forever, to finally just get my first RV working. Thanks to you, walking me wire by wire through the WEG, I had that wonderful moment when that hulking great lump of cast iron 3 hp WEG ran on just 200 ma of 120 AC through tiny speaker wires, at full 1790 RPM.Cheers Warren

Remember will it be several poles or one freaking pole the method is the same ,,, in making any brushed generator into an original EV gray motor be in in attraction or repulsion . RV is extra to the mix ,,, ( its the seasoning )

HectorI'm not sure what conversation this belongs inI am, at present, hoping to drive my 100lb flywheel with a 3600 rpm bench grinder, 120 volt 60hz motor 1:1 with a vee belt, that I can adjust the tension. The generator is a 2.6 kw 120/240 volt 3600 rpm unit intended to be connected to a lawn mower for stand by power.I had it connected to a hydraulic motor driven by an 85 hp diesel in my boat.Beyond a stupid microwave oven idea, I had no need for engine driven AC.I hope to drive the generator at a slightly higher rpm than the 3600 to adjust for losses. This is my first set up for the experiment.  Buggering around with belts,  and pulleys, should likely kill the day getting everything mounted, but I will keep you posted.Any suggestions from one and all are welcome.Cheers Warren

Hi DougIt bugs the shit out of me not knowing why my rig worked. I wasn't surprised, because I thought that was what it was supposed to do, according to the others working on it at the same time.Remember me saying something about hoping it wasn't because of that Stat Power inverter? Oh shit! Could that have played a role? Statpower of Burnaby ,BC has changed hands since my unit was made. It is that same unit that I fried one of the output transistors doing some silly test, or another, where I fed it on 16 volts+ needing several inverters at once.It didn't do over voltage supply.I still have it sitting in a President's Choice coffee can, awaiting me to find a new set of transistors and solder them in place. My scientific method of fault finding involves looking at the circuit board and spotting the burn mark around the component. The laser thermometer works well too. If something runs hot it is likely bad.Cheers Warren

Also you could say Tom McKay was successful, as he doubled-up the series transformer to be coming out of two motors with shafts locked together, and then stepped down to 24V and charged batteries running the invertor and looped it like that.

maybe the idea is to make a synchronous motor out of it wired to 240 and run on 120VAC synchronized to line then increase the excitation until it takes power factor to a leading value ...or best low watts .. and use it as a MOTOR generator ...(autonomous)

I am, at present, hoping to drive my 100lb flywheel with a 3600 rpm bench grinder, 120 volt 60hz motor 1:1 with a vee belt, that I can adjust the tension.
The generator is a 2.6 kw 120/240 volt 3600 rpm unit intended to be connected to a lawn mower for stand by power.
I had it connected to a hydraulic motor driven by an 85 hp diesel in my boat.
Beyond a stupid microwave oven idea, I had no need for engine driven AC.
I hope to drive the generator at a slightly higher rpm than the 3600 to adjust for losses.
This is my first set up for the experiment. Buggering around with belts, and pulleys, should likely kill the day getting everything mounted, but I will keep you posted.
Any suggestions from one and all are welcome.
 Cheers Warren

HectorI just got it mostly assembledThe flywheel is firmly mounted and is good. It turns very freely. The 1/2 hp bench grinder motor has a hard time. It just doesn't have the torque needed to get off the starting capacitor to be able to get up to its full speed. It got too dark and cold to keep at it tonight, but I am thinking that I could put a bored out hockey puck in a 7.5 inch side grinder and perhaps press against the rim of the flywheel while at the same time use the grinder motor which is connectedby vee belt to the flywheel.Another approach is a 3 hp DC motor to drive it. I could use a heavy variac and an equally heavy diode, and steadily raise the voltage and get the flywheel up to speed, perhaps? The other end of my challenge is the generator head.It turns fine but does not put out the voltage. It was working fine when taken out of service twenty -five years ago.It is a 2.6 kw Troy -Bilt 3600rpm 120, 240 volt , 60 hz unit. How to jolt it back to life?I had this happen to me with a portable genset once after a lightning storm. It was dead as a nit for producing power though the motor was just running fine.Cheers Warren

I thought I would put this out there for you guys in case they do me
unawares .no need to waste a idea..here's a possible OU device I thought up
and it has some limits ..but you build a hho generator Meyer capacitance
type shoot for best efficiency..then make a generator with a pulley
setup...make a small platform .tie it to a weather balloon .bubble the hho
Thu a acetone or gasoline bath to stabilize it fill balloon .till it will
lift several hundred pounds with platform .on plate form put a small hho
motor generator and inverter for AC current ..as the balloon rides to 1000
to 60000 ft it's cable is turning a earth bound generator so power going up
.using two cables going up .when at the top drop the heavy weight pulling
again the earth bound generator cable ..one comes down one holds platform
.when the weight is down the hho generator fires up deleting the hho .and
sending down the current Thu the cables ..as the hho diminished the
platform will start to drop the earth gen slowly brings her back just
keeping the lines tight ....the point is ..efficient hho .isn't lost in the
process you get its power you get power from its bouncy up and it's weight
comming down are a bonus rounds of energy .I don't think anyone has thought
of using hho's lift to generate power and the dropping of a weight .plus
.plus plus .and the rise would be unlimited ..well almost.. Think you could
make power from the rise and fall of a ton at a mile up .? There's the free
energy . frankly 500 ft would be the league limit here in the USA . air
plane's .and all .what do you think .needs a little tweaking ? My 30 pound
hammer should do it .

Hi Warren
Maybe that generator has sat for long time and its rotor core has demagnetized itself and it needs to be "flashed" with car battery to be remagnetized again?
Maybe the brushes are stuck in their holders and do not slide freely?
Maybe there is circuit or special diodes within the generator, so that it does not make any power at all until it reaches the speed it is designed for, probably 1800rpm.

Thanks DougI guess explorative surgery is in order.I'll check it out,  and put everything in order. Now this flashing, I know one needs to do this from time, to time, I have been told, but have never done it myself.Pulling the unit apart, and making all the parts work, I can do that. It only has had a life time running of less than an hour, so in spite of a sea trip to South America, and back, should basically be ok.That principal drive motor is a study. It initially needs high torque to be applied to get it rolling. Then a steady force applied at increasing rpm.For the purposes of this experiment, I can plug into grid power. Tricks will be after, when we get this part functioning. The concept as I understand it,( if it can indeed, be understood,) the flywheel supplies enough over abundance of stored energy to run a generator, which in turn, supplies a motor enough power that it is able to maintain flywheel speed, overcoming numerous sources of loss, and supply a modest surplus.Nomally, I would toss this idea out, but seeing the sincere, ernest people obviously having some kind of success with their creations, and bringing in someone to video the results on their cell phone, simply, as far as I can tell, to altruistically share with humanity. This creature exists, and this is his contribution to the world.Yes, I felt moved, and inspired to give it a try, contrary to my affection for science, and the solid pragmatic basis for doing anything. What about a compressor motor? They have brutal start torque required, although they tend to run slower, and use a lot more power.Recalculating: run the wheel at 1800 rpm? Gear up to generator running it at 3600 rpm?Off to the frosty unheated barns.Cheers Warren

Warren I'd flash the rotor first might save time taking it apart. That's what you have to do when you put new rotors in old gen sets. Its just like magnetizing a screw driver.

TroisI have a 20 amp DC power supply. Would you use that?I can easily see and access the two slip rings. There were three wires coming out of the unit. Chasing them down, one is connected to the frame, the other two dissapear inside, but I can't make out what they are attached to. There is a small black plastic box shaped component inside the frame with wires attached. I would have to take the unit appart to read numbers and so on.I was able to steel wool the slip rings, which were tarnished from lack of use.Thank you for your advice. I'll give the slip rings a touch of 12 Volts 20 amps, or two.
Cheers Warren
