Hi Norm,

This paper is one of your excellent references.

I would like to replicate the events through the plasma that I achieved
as it creates a huge magnetic pulse that can be harvested but as you say
gets to kill the solid state stuff as if the TVS diodes were not even
there. At least the ferroresonant amplification without the plasma gap
just cooks the TVS diodes like popcorn even though rated at 1000 amps
with only about 2 amp 23v input, but spared the rest, I guess it chose
at the diodes to manifest.  Oh yeah the ferrotranny was connected with
30 guage wire wrap wire when the 1000 amps TVS diodes exploded from 46w
and wire was fine. Have not built the tube circuits yet just working on
the solid state grid control circuits first then plan to decouple with
something similar to cascode so hopefully the superfast gate driver does
not cook.

Not sure if Ole's snubber network would stop the event but have the
feeling so since caps will suppress the rise time and kill ringing, but
have not tried so can't say.  Seems to me the event is created right at
the switch and the rise in voltage is like the inertia x acceleration
before the end of a whip cracks and necessary.

The Mexican said , brush the dust off and see that you are walking on a pool of mercury. At the time mercury was selling for $26/# so it would have taken a big 4 wheel drive vehicle to go out and retrieve enough mercury to make it worth while to explore. Lots of mercury that the Environmental people frown on.

Hi Warren,

Ocean waves just rides through each other by crossing on top of each other. That's also what happens when crossing two beams of light. This is superposition (https://wiki2.org/en/Superposition_principle https://wiki2.org/en/Superposition_principle) where the energy just adds up. For coherence (https://wiki2.org/en/Coherence_(physics) https://wiki2.org/en/Coherence_(physics)) the single waves are mixed into just one wave which is how the energy becomes more than when just adding up the energy of each single wave. This is like a LASER beam where each single wave merges to become one single coherent wave that doesn't split apart.

The trick is to input the single waves then mix them into a coherent wave before using the energy. This happens in LASERs. When the wave is coherent it doesn't split up into the components forming it. Waves formed by superposition splits up after riding through each other to become the initial single waves after the passage.

   Hi Bob,

Of course this is a possibility. Chernetsky's self-generating discharge plasma claims just that (http://rexresearch.com/chernetskii/chernetskii.htm http://rexresearch.com/chernetskii/chernetskii.htm). Also plasma tubes has some regions with negative resistance characteristic and electron tubes can strip off the electron emitting layer and use this as an energy source. But perhaps burning or consuming the materials in other ways is just as efficient?!

Personally I like the Inversion principle of W.B. Smith as he claims that this principle can take out energy from the cosmic background of space. That background is electrons and positrons according to Smith and those particles are what makes up the physical world we're part of. The trick is to mix two fields of the same kind same size and same direction to become coherent. This happens in electromagnetic coils and many other places. Take two similar coils having the same current through them. Each one represents one unit of energy or a total of two units of energy. Now put the same two coils on only one of the cores and the inductance is quadrupled when the fields are reinforcing each other. Put the same current as before through the 'new' coil and the stored energy is four times that of a single coil on the same core. I.e. that's four units of energy. The current hasn't changed. Only the space changed to share both coils. Smith never built such a device before his death as far as I know. The principle of inversion is explained in chapter ten of his book: http://www.rexresearch.com/smith/newsci~1.htm#ch10forces http://www.rexresearch.com/smith/newsci~1.htm#ch10forces

Tariel Kapanadze may use that same principle in his electronic self-runners. Dr. Andrey Melnichenko accidentally discovered that same principle when melting a microwave waveguide by having three microwave transmitters send their waves through that rectangular copper tube without having enough power to melt it. The waves became coherent and thus actually did melt the tube. Three similar waves becoming coherent is 9 times the power of a single wave.

OleBack to the trick, mixing waves to coheraence, how do we set this experiment up?It is very useful to have a concept to work to, namely, coherence, when attempting to coax energy out of a device. If this is it, I feel like I have been groping in the dark, with energy machines, for the last 15 years!Ha,ha.  To put an illustration to where we are not quite at now.In the late 70's I spent about $600
Canadian, for a tube type helium neon laser. It was only 3 watts but was enough to make a single key of a vey expensive computer, at that time, simply light up, for a three second shot, in a television commercial, on command.I was considered a well paid hero, at that time, saving the production company thousands of dollars, by not having to trash several computers, which they had budgeted for, to do such a thing, as cutting the keyboards apart, and installing grain of wheat light bulbs inside special ones, made from clear acrylic, and so on.All these things are now common as dirt, at corner stores, with cat toy, lasers, selling for $1.25, and keyboards, if they exist at all, just light, on places we touch. How soon we take it all for granted. So to imagine it, is almost most of the way to making it happen. In a down to earth way, can we wind coils, to make transformers to achieve coherence,?What about spiral pancake TESLA coils? Do you think this could be possible? What would the trick have to be?Cheers Warren

Hey Man, knock your self out!   I choose to use the two Interocitors
that I have on the top shelf of my shop!

(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interocitor)    I first heard the term
from my Glenn L. Martin, Test Pilot  friend who was testing the P-6M jet
flying boat up in Baltimore. A day hire (flunky) was given a 5 gal
bucket of safety orange paint and told to go out on Sea Plane ramp and
refinish all of the critical, Top Secret Interositors.  They were the
concrete pyramid blocks with eye bolts on top to tie down the sea planes
on the ramp going down into Chesapeake Bay.  Lol   Joking aside, we
really do not know what will or will not work around this strange form
of energy. Follow Micks post for he is making progress with
understanding my ramblings.    Norm

Nick went on an expedition down into the South West New Mexico to the old abandoned mercury mines, Mercury, NM, which produced mercury needed for the WWII was effort. A full day trek via 4 wheelers with a Mexican guide brought them to an old mine. When walking inside of mine, Nick asked the Mexican why it felt like they were walking on a water bed?? The Mexican said , brush the dust off and see that you are walking on a pool of mercury. At the time mercury was selling for $26/# so it would have taken a big 4 wheel drive vehicle to go out and retrieve enough mercury to make it worth while to explore. Lots of mercury that the Environmental people frown on.

Yes, my observation is that the energy manifest at the point of plasma
arc which is the magnetic flux annihilation event and reconnect.
Awesome power developed and carried over very small wire as if it is
super high freq RF at phenomenal amps. I agree in that solid state
components should not be near the event point. Crispy critters. Yes,

When you need a power supply that will not fail, in places like a high
radiation environment or Funky Energy, you use Mag Amps and Saturable
Cores or Saturable Reactors, today made from Metglas.
The concepts might help you out with your destruction issue.

Hi Norman,

What if there is nothing like magnetic lines of force. Or at least no more than there are wave field lines on the oceans. Consider all force fields as waves like it is done in the theory of Rhythmodynamics. Magnetic field lines don't incorporate gravity. To explain Alexey Chekurov's antigravity device conventional electromagnetism may not be adequate. The relation between gravity and electromagnetism may need theories like that of W.B. Smith and W.J. Hooper or the theory of Rhythmodynamics.by Yuri Ivanov. Then all forces are basically interactions of electrons or positrons which make up the physical world. What make equipotential lines like putting iron powder on a cardboard on top of a magnet may be just the particles laying in the least energy density valleys of the waves.

The following figures are from an early version of Ivanov's book. They're all just the interference of waves from two transmitters even though it may look like field lines from a distance. As T.J.J. See showed in his work it looks like the forces in waves behaves the same no matter if being sound in a gas or in a liquid or light in vacuum gas or solid matter. There seems to be a universal law governing waves (look up wave theory).

Then consider electromagnetism as a case of waves or vibrations but of ultrashort wavelengths capable of penetrate everything. The interference of those ultrashort waves is what we perceive as electromagnetism. The magnetic field has very high penetration strength. Is there any known matter that it doesn't go through? Even vacuum conducts magnetism even though it's around 10000 times less than iron.

Perhaps Keely could pump away enough of that medium of fine matter to decrease the conductivity for the all penetrating ultrashort waves. Those waves are the ultimate source of energy. It looks like some people can do the trick of converting them into useful energy sources. W.B. Smith only claims that it can be done without showing how to do it. Kapanadze and perhaps Don Smith could do it as well as Dr. Melnichenko. Kapanadze shows both his mechanical self-runner as well as several solid state devices with only the plasma spark gap in the electronic versions not being solid state. The mechanical version looks like driven by pulses without a spark gap. I think the spark gap is only for making the very sharp pulses. A transistor in avalanche mode would probably work too. This gives very high pulse power even though the mean power is low. The problem when using coils is that they have high impedance to short pulses which requires high voltage to drive even small current through them. This could be the reason for using spark gaps as they can work at very high voltages. Step-up transformers like induction coils can charge a capacitor that is then discharged through the coil. Something nonlinear like a rectifier is also needed to mix waves into coherence. Without a nonlinear part in the mixer the signals rides through each other.

Ole

Hi Mick,

TVS diodes are rated for some max power dissipation and perhaps some max energy too (fusing energy I^2t). If applying more energy than the max i^2t rating it melts. As being fast Zener diodes they clamp the voltage at some level while having current through them at the same time which means power dissipation in them. If reading EMC (EMI) theory several stages are needed to protect for powerful EMP transients. The first step is a spark gap. The spark gap is followed by a varistor that is followed by a TVS or Zener diode. The spark gap breaks down to low impedance which reflects or dissipates much of the energy of the signal. The varistor is a solid state spark in some metal grains and has the same purpose as the spark gap. the TVS or Zener diode stage removes the rest of the energy to protect the sensitive electronics. It is essential to know how the electromagnetic radiation is transferred between the different stages to prevent it from reaching the sensitive electronics. Every current loop transmits the energy as a very penetrating magnetic field. That magnetic energy has to be dissipated or reflected which can be done with electrical conductive materials like iron or aluminum. The field induces current in the screening material which requires only connecting the circuit inside the screen to a single point. Audio guys probably have experienced this when building amplifiers.

A thyristor (SCR) crowbar is also a good protection. It shorts the pulse just like a spark gap and then blows a fuse to disconnect the circuit to be protected..

Ole

I would like to replicate the events through the plasma that I achieved as it creates a huge magnetic pulse that can be harvested but as you say gets to kill the solid state stuff as if the TVS diodes were not even there. At least the ferroresonant amplification without the plasma gap just cooks the TVS diodes like popcorn even though rated at 1000 amps with only about 2 amp 23v input, but spared the rest, I guess it chose at the diodes to manifest. Oh yeah the ferrotranny was connected with 30 guage wire wrap wire when the 1000 amps TVS diodes exploded from 46w and wire was fine. Have not built the tube circuits yet just working on the solid state grid control circuits first then plan to decouple with something similar to cascode so hopefully the superfast gate driver does not cook.

Not sure if Ole's snubber network would stop the event but have the feeling so since caps will suppress the rise time and kill ringing, but have not tried so can't say. Seems to me the event is created right at the switch and the rise in voltage is like the inertia x acceleration before the end of a whip cracks and necessary.

What if the Arc/Spark is part of the actual process in getting more energy?

Every O/U thing I've ever though worked usually had a Plasm or Arc/Spark.
Usually not intentionally and the designer always wanted to get rid of it.
OleOne has to keep in mind those graphic representations are mere 2D slices from a rounded, larger three dimensional wave field, like a sliced onion. It becomes a challenge to navigate through the volume with line coherence.Very interesting topic!Cheers Warren

Ole

Ole, a careful study of the Anti Parallel, Magnetic Flux Annihilation and Reconnect Phenomenon ( https://www.nap.edu/read/10993/chapter/4#27  ) is required reading to understand that this kinetic energy conversion into a form of energy still foreign to our pea size brains. Modern solid state devices stand absolutely no chance of survival in this strange environment therefore I would not even suggest same.  If you actually saw this phenomenon happen, you would simply saw WOW.  I have witnessed it numerous times and know that solid state is not the answer. In my unidirectional DC pulse, Magnetic spark gap experiments, I used a long throw high amperage (DC) flash suppressed mechanical switch to fire the HVDC.  Learned from reading Tesla experiences in the Edison DC switching.  Bert & Phil used an air blown HVDC firing gap when they were exploding 10 ga. wire coils in their Z Pinch experiments with 25KJ cap discharges at 30KVDC. Hi Warren,

"Back to the trick, mixing waves to coheraence, how do we set this experiment up?"
I'm using electronics as that's what I have knowledge of and means to build and experiment with. Kapanadze does both electronics and mechanics. As long as the principle is valid any means can be used. Viktor Schauberger used air and water so if one know pneumatics or hydraulics that's another way to go.

"In a down to earth way, can we wind coils, to make transformers to achieve coherence,?"
That's what I'm trying. Perhaps the fields must travel into the ambient and not just stay inside the magnetic conductors of the core?! But I don't see that this would matter if the fundamental fields are all penetrating. I see ferrous materials as being good candidates for a nonlinear mixer when working around the saturation region.

Perhaps a nonlinear transmission line is what is needed for the mixer. If one knows it all becomes very simple I guess. Everything was hard until someone found the principles. Many that have made self-running devices aren't good at explaining how to do it or perhaps just aren't willing to tell so. Inventors are very secretive while their investors want to know everything to finance them which make it a bad combination. Thus don't expect such a device to come from that path. It's probably a full time job to make such a device. Without much time a long while may go before achieving good results. We just have to keep on trying. I'm going somewhere along the way of the Clemente Figuera patents with slow progress. I wonder how long Pierre Cotnoir has come with his next device.

It is very useful to have a concept to work to, namely, coherence, when attempting to coax energy out of a device.
If this is it, I feel like I have been groping in the dark, with energy machines, for the last 15 years!
 Ha,ha.
To put an illustration to where we are not quite at now.
In the late 70's I spent about $600
Canadian, for a tube type helium neon laser. It was only 3 watts but was enough to make a single key of a vey expensive computer, at that time, simply light up, for a three second shot, in a television commercial, on command.
I was considered a well paid hero, at that time, saving the production company thousands of dollars, by not having to trash several computers, which they had budgeted for, to do such a thing, as cutting the keyboards apart, and installing grain of wheat light bulbs inside special ones, made from clear acrylic, and so on.
All these things are now common as dirt, at corner stores, with cat toy, lasers, selling for $1.25, and keyboards, if they exist at all, just light, on places we touch.
How soon we take it all for granted.
So to imagine it, is almost most of the way to making it happen.
In a down to earth way, can we wind coils, to make transformers to achieve coherence,?
What about spiral pancake TESLA coils? Do you think this could be possible? What would the trick have to be?
 Cheers Warren

Ole

Hi Norm,

This paper is one of your excellent references.

I would like to replicate the events through the plasma that Iachieved as it creates a huge magnetic pulse that can be harvestedbut as you say gets to kill the solid state stuff as if the TVSdiodes were not even there. At least the ferroresonantamplification without the plasma gap just cooks the TVS diodeslike popcorn even though rated at 1000 amps with only about 2 amp23v input, but spared the rest, I guess it chose at the diodes tomanifest.  Oh yeah the ferrotranny was connected with 30 guagewire wrap wire when the 1000 amps TVS diodes exploded from 46w andwire was fine. Have not built the tube circuits yet just workingon the solid state grid control circuits first then plan todecouple with something similar to cascode so hopefully thesuperfast gate driver does not cook.

Not sure if Ole's snubber network would stop the event but havethe feeling so since caps will suppress the rise time and killringing, but have not tried so can't say.  Seems to me the eventis created right at the switch and the rise in voltage is like theinertia x acceleration before the end of a whip cracks andnecessary.

Hi Warren,

Ocean waves just rides through each other by crossing on top of each other. That's also what happens when crossing two beams of light. This is superposition (https://wiki2.org/en/Superposition_principle) where the energy just adds up. For coherence (https://wiki2.org/en/Coherence_(physics)) the single waves are mixed into just one wave which is how the energy becomes more than when just adding up the energy of each single wave.

Chernetsky's self-generating discharge plasma claims just that (http://rexresearch.com/chernetskii/chernetskii.htm).

The principle of inversion is explained in chapter ten of his book: http://www.rexresearch.com/smith/newsci~1.htm#ch10forces

PLEASE, all, we are trying to enhance, purposely provoke and attempt to
capture the event, NOT mitigate or prevent it from happening.   In all
of the studies of the Ferroresonant phenomenon, all effort is to
prevent, mitigate the effects.  Why do you insist on using solid state
devices or circuits which need protection.  Just like the Russians who
still use mini vacuum tubes in critical EMP vulnerable aviation
equipment, I would fall back to using the trusted Vacuum Thyratron
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thyratron
https://dbtubes.com/en/thyratron-vacuum-tube/     This whole Neutral
Spike (EMP event) study is to prove that an extra ordinary form of
energy is manifest at the point of magnetic flux annihilation (In the
plasma of the arc).  It is called the reconnect phase. The preponderance
of the knowledge of this subject has been the study of the magnetic
ropes (plasma) of the sun and the EMP burst from the
annihilation/reconnect phenomenon. The old saying, As above so below
certainly applies here for these plasma conditions have been
accomplished in research labs to prove out exactly what happens.  Run
with what we have learned by applying the info in your device design and
methodology.   As strong as a blacksmith anvil.
