BartAs you know, when something needs to be done I get it done. When I am learning things by exploring, I look in the door see how it works, and try to remember them.This heat pump is my concern right now, on the stone barn.We should be getting it finally hooked up this weekend, when Mike, again drives here from Toronto, this time with a 50 gal drum of glycol, and we will finish tying into the house panel to feed that 100 amp electrical cable to the barn. We will then be able to measure the electrical needs of that heating system accurately , to be then getting a definate target to be able to work towards.We know theoretically that heat pumps give three times more heat than a resistance hot water heater.
We have both, and will test that.We know that RV gives 1.614 more than input. We will be able to test that, yet again, with the whole system in place. Rosemary Ainsely, has a circuit that is supposed to deliver 17 times more output than  accept anything that can be put into it energy wise. I love what Ole is doing with the transformer. I want to try that with my monster, big three phase transformer, once we slip out of the clutches of hypothermia in the work space.If I can just flip the 100 amp breaker, to the stone barn, off, then I will have success, in my books.Yes, the roofs all could use solar panels, the South facing ones would put us off the grid, but we already know that, and what fun is that?Cheers Warren

Hi MickRick was quite sincere, and had to work around John's self defeating sense of paranoia. John certainly suffered occasional bouts of mental illness, when Bart, and I visited with him for about four days.He would be his solid self, logical, and down to earth, then take flight as if green aliens were after him, in conversation.I sure hope it was not me sending him to those dark places, by Bart, and I, visiting. John's brother would keep John out of the mental bushes, I think.Rick is a very sensitive sort who was good for John, but John would have issues.
Health care in the US is not cheap, if you are self employed, plus there are stigmas attached to mental health problems, so it seems the general level of care is poor, in small communities like John lived in.On top of that, there might have been bad experiences, John may have had with bad people, I once read.John had a profound knowledge of electronics, and semi conductors right from the basic ingredients, to designing circuits, and a great mind, working well beyond the box.We had a cordial and candid visit, and got along on many levels including his '32 Ford coup.I supported Rick with the boat project, as it was an area I have been interested in.I helped Rick some time before, with doing an energy show, in Upper State NY featuring John Bedini's work, and teaching folks how to wire muffin fans as  motor generators.Cheers Warren

Rick said Johns brother knew nothing about electronics not John.  I spoke to Rick for a couple hours a few months back, some of what he told me was intriguing about his and Johns falling out.  Rick said he came up with the idea of the large multicore kits and John agreed but left Rick mostly on his own to build them.  Everything was hunky dory until Rick built the boat with the electric motor and Bedini charging system, this according to Rick of course.  He said John had said to him in passing prior be careful don't build anything too big but just in passing never with any sort of urgency.

So this is the story from Rick who seemed to me sincere and much kinder a person than the few times I spoke to John on the phone back in the 80's after I told him I was a recording engineer he became ultra short and snitty.
 Not claiming John was lacking as a great teacher and resource or in any way clouding his memory just reporting the facts as best I am aware.  As one can imagine after a long chat there were many other facets but perhaps another time.

You guys think that maybe jonh was afraid for his life on some of his vids
he spoke of people who might kill over OU and that's why he built toys to
not get there attention .and Rick goes and does a boat ?  Both him and his
brother died like with in a few hours of each other .to me that's a message
from the dark side . can't prove but it's still there .what's the odds ?.

 You can how ever get similar results which take longer but does work using a magnetic stirrer.
 Use distilled water and run the distilled for an hour or less to increase the ph.
 Most distilled water comes 6.2 or so , try to get the ph to spike then settle to 7.4 making it alkaline.

As you know, when something needs to be done I get it done. When I am learning things by exploring, I look in the door see how it works, and try to remember them.
This heat pump is my concern right now, on the stone barn.
We should be getting it finally hooked up this weekend, when Mike, again drives here from Toronto, this time with a 50 gal drum of glycol, and we will finish tying into the house panel to feed that 100 amp electrical cable to the barn. We will then be able to measure the electrical needs of that heating system accurately , to be then getting a definate target to be able to work towards.
We know theoretically that heat pumps give three times more heat than a resistance hot water heater.
We have both, and will test that.
We know that RV gives 1.614 more than input. We will be able to test that, yet again, with the whole system in place. Rosemary Ainsely, has a circuit that is supposed to deliver 17 times more output than
 accept anything that can be put into it energy wise.
 I love what Ole is doing with the transformer. I want to try that with my monster, big three phase transformer, once we slip out of the clutches of hypothermia in the work space.
If I can just flip the 100 amp breaker, to the stone barn, off, then I will have success, in my books.
Yes, the roofs all could use solar panels, the South facing ones would put us off the grid, but we already know that, and what fun is that?

Out of a 12 volt lead acid. Then my shop got broken into. The older retired electronics engineer Keith had helped me with it.

I asked John about Ron Cole I think was the name of the fellow whom had a battery run cold and at 17.5 volts or some thing.

I think Warren meant Sven's transformer and Ole has been helping him withadvice for  the push pull invertor driving it, which Sven got to be working well a few days ago...the experiments Sven is doing is like Hector's Transvertor experiments  with 3ph transformer leaving one phase blank resonant another extract from another this in a nutshell. Anyways Warren has a gigantic 3ph transformer he wants to do something with in the Transvertor mode.
