As you know, when something needs to be done I get it done. When I am learning things by exploring, I look in the door see how it works, and try to remember them.
This heat pump is my concern right now, on the stone barn.
We should be getting it finally hooked up this weekend, when Mike, again drives here from Toronto, this time with a 50 gal drum of glycol, and we will finish tying into the house panel to feed that 100 amp electrical cable to the barn. We will then be able to measure the electrical needs of that heating system accurately , to be then getting a definate target to be able to work towards.
We know theoretically that heat pumps give three times more heat than a resistance hot water heater.
We have both, and will test that.
We know that RV gives 1.614 more than input. We will be able to test that, yet again, with the whole system in place. Rosemary Ainsely, has a circuit that is supposed to deliver 17 times more output than
 accept anything that can be put into it energy wise.
 I love what Ole is doing with the transformer. I want to try that with my monster, big three phase transformer, once we slip out of the clutches of hypothermia in the work space.
If I can just flip the 100 amp breaker, to the stone barn, off, then I will have success, in my books.
Yes, the roofs all could use solar panels, the South facing ones would put us off the grid, but we already know that, and what fun is that?

John and I must have smoked a pack a day . Once Tom Beardon called, John put him on speaker , all I said was hi! lol

It was when John was coming out with his ten coiler and was nervous about his security, I offered he, Gary and Tom to sell them in Canada.

electronics. I will try to find it if you have not seen it. I did buy Ricks run charge circuit and modified it with some coil bangers. I managed to get 850 volts and 40 - 8o amps.

Out of a 12 volt lead acid. Then my shop got broken into. The older retired electronics engineer Keith had helped me with it.

I asked John about Ron Cole I think was the name of the fellow whom had a battery run cold and at 17.5 volts or some thing.
