It has been. And the south pole has been gone to many times. And you cannot present to me one iota of evidence for a flat earth. You will now, not something that can't be easily shown to be false. Flat earth is a religion, it relies on faith and makes obnoxious attempts to convert people.. Also, scams do that too. Indeed. The thing they can't do is provide a single solid reason the earth is flat. I have offered them $11,000 dollars (that is mostly an offer from a Reddit user who will pay for evidence), but suddenly they become the only humans allergic to money. I have pleaded and bullied them, but no, they say I am being lazy, I should research it myself, but I tell them I have and they say I do a poor job of it. Their belief is based on faith, not on evidence. Sure, they can provide TONS of low quality faulty arguments that are easily dispelled, drown you in quantity. But even if their lives, their honor are at stake, they cannot provide a single solitary piece of compelling evidence, let alone proof! It's false, and logically they know it, but they don't give a fig about logic. The bible is a document, that has evolved from a middle Eastern desert people who developed a writen language, and spread through Romans into Europe. They don't care if it shakes the faith of the Catholics because their authority is the pope and Church tradition, not the Bible. They wouldn't even allow the laity to read the Bible until after the Protestant Reformation, then they were sort of forced to. I thought that people might see that the bible supports a flat earth, but I guess ball earthers won't pay much attention to the bible.
If the earth is a sphere and is spinning around the sun, then we should really get rid of the bible.

We have obediently accepted Astronomy through education indoctrination. People's love of Space is programmed by books, TV shows and movies. The concept of no Space is incomprehensible to them.
Then there is the fact that nobody can find the curvature that goes with a ball earth; the truth is that no matter how high they go they can't find the curvature unless a Go-Pro lens is used.
Many people have the pride of higher learning. They have their bachelor in physics and their masters and tell us not to talk about the flat earth. They say that science proved the Earth is a sphere a long time ago. We live in a heliocentric solar system. Galileo observed four moons orbiting Saturn with his telescope in 1610.
They go on to say: "I don't need to look at flat earth proofs. I know the earth is not flat. All the scientists in the world know the earth is not flat. If you had half a brain you would know the earth is not flat."
The truth is, it is very difficult to shake free from 16+ years of programming where they spent 12 years in school, 4 years in college, 2 years for masters and 8 years average for PhD.
After 16+ years of programming comes Pride, Accomplishment and Absolute Knowledge. The danger of Pride and Absolute Knowledge is when they come across evidence that challenges their Absolute Knowledge, their Pride won't allow it.
