That was great writing!  He is in Aus which is probably less reactive 
but let's say a call to the LAPD for instance back in the day with right 
wing prick Gates at the throne.   You're right the whole neighborhood 
could be taken out over slitting that damn pesky teenagers throat.

I think the KJ bible was written under duress anyhow, they were told to 
finish translating in one year or no more heads.  I guess old King James 
was tired of the uptight puritanical version and wanted a new young 
swinging groovy text rather than the recent reformation stuff.

Sadly likely all religious texts have been used as excuses to slaughter 
fellow humans perhaps even some Buddhist and Taoist sects included 
though these are generally the more reasonable of religions when it 
comes to killing one another.  One can cherry pick parts and since the 
book is basically a Diary of one large family /tribe and their history 
it deals with just about everything including how to stop black mold in 
ones home, so there is a plethora of data to make ones own.

I try not to admit when I hear voices ---  Like the old Indian said 
before entering the sweat with peyote buttons in hand, white man goes to 
church to talk to God Indian goes in tepee and talks with God.
