Hi Kone.  My Technology alows to use multistage config. So i can accelerate an payload to any speed practicaly .. 1000 .. 2000 .. 5000m/s .. and more.
 My drean is to build .. an Aerospeace EM launcher ... to shoot the payloads (like microsatelit's ) directly to the orbit. But this is an big project ..  that required lot of money.
 So i have to start with something smaler ... like guns .. 
 Now i work on smal project .. 
 look at this guys .. they spended a lot of money ... to make this gun .. and all what they achived - is 7% of efficiency! only 7%!

 Yes i work with HV .. of cours ..  but im using special fast capacitor discharge technic ..  and playng with KiloAmps .. it's very complicated. 
 

 I made and tested first level prototype .. carefule tested it .. and take all the data.
 Now i work on next generation protoype .. level two. 
 And im looking for help ... to doing business with this device.
 If someone is interested in that .. im ready to cenversation .. and to share some more data about my work.

So .. for complete clarity, im not talking about overunity device.  Efficiency of my device is lower then 100%, but it's more better then any else technic known in this world.
 Im talking about Ed Gray poping Coils .. if you remember ..  and something like this was done by Ismael Aviso .. 
 After a lot of time and hardly work ... i found the way how to increasy eff. of poping coils to the level that noone reached before.

Also you could have large wheel say 10 or20meter diameter put 2 or 4 or whatever coils on rim knock these coils around with intermittent blasts of the repelling force...probably could self run and supply electrical power to many homes if generator spun with flywheel....space propulsion another way to go..
I advise stay awAy from military used as they can shut you down.

Consider surrounding the launcher coil all the way around it with splatter/pickup coils with thin ferrite cores, all these coils pointed inward, at the arigap between launcher and middle coil before the launch.
Lots of flux will shoot out sideways 90 degrees to direction of missle coil and the flux can induce lots of normally wasted flux that shoots out sideways from the in cap discharge to launcher coil.
So big doughnut of coils all the way around launcher coil and all coils with cores pointed at the airgap.
Rectify these "splatter flux" catching coils and fill caps
Dump caps back into main HV capacitor if you want.

Pulse the electromagnet(launcher coil) at frequency that "missle" (shorted-coil )rings a
Pulse launcher coil with 2000vdc cap discharge
Recover with diodes or sparkgap or whAtever what goes into launcher coil comes back out to refill cap

DougThat might be tricky to do with a multiple coil motor like a Samsung.I might be able to use my reciprocal test rig using one or two coils only where one might be able to use a couple of relays  perhaps to switch it?

Hi Ole.  I can't read the doc from you'r link, i can't download it ... but i understand how they got this numbers .. like 47%. 
 Theoreticaly the railgun can achive something around 50 - 60% of efficiency ... but not practicaly .. to get this efficiency .. you need dramaticaly to increase the lingh .. and mass of rails .. amd in the same time to keep the leakage inductance of  rails and omhic resistance as low as possible. In reality it is not realizable, it is a dead-end task. I'll be cuirose to see some video aprovment's of this railgun with this level of efficiency. 
 And the next thing is  that ... the rails become burned out just after few shoots .. so .. you can't make 100 shoots in exmaple .. without of changing of rails. 
 I prupose that numbers in this doc's .. are for getting a budget .. and are far away from reality
 

 Look the video i showed to you .. take care at the moment the guys shows the projectile .. that exceeding the speed up to 7 mach  = 2100km/s

 My high performance electromagnetic accelerator technology has been confirmed. And now I have in development the world's first electromagnetic rifle. No matter how strange it sounds - but these weapons will save lives, and not take them. It's all about the unique capabilities that it will possess. One is for sure rigth away, EVERY remote access to the weapon WILL
be abused/hacked soon or later. Tracking WILL be used to frame
innocent/inconvenient people. Just imagine the absurdity of the situation.
The presidents lifeguards around the guy and in the crowd. Next second
their weapons starts firing at maximum power and speed all around.

Please don't get me wrong, presidents life is not more worth then every

My design was based on Peter Graneau exploding 1cc water in small quartz peanut looking bulbs with the two electrodes for the capacitor discharge. The projectile was 45 caliber and attached to bulb end and loads like a single shot rifle. The 30KJ  capacitor and powerpack was in shoulder carry bag.  This provides nearly 400,000PSI propelling force.
