Hector's Rotorvertor works.One can harvest AC from the series circuit with the capacitors, with a factor of 1.614 times the input, as tested by myself. Others have achieved 1.618 times, doing a bit better, scrubbing the grease from the bearings, and removing the neoprene seals.(This is over unity by standards, that Tiller, and Bearden, should have noted)Moving on, what would be the problem with energising the Transvertor using this capacitor circuit from the Rotovertor?
I'm sure that Hector has done this a million times and powers his appartment building, just so, but it only occured to me now, to try to do this with that monster three phase transformer, I have been dragging around several hundred miles, after being a 450 lb toe stubber in my studio in Toronto.Duh, what if I tune, to power the first winding of that transformer, using my 3 hp WEG Rotovertor, as a source of AC?My capacitor tuning box has a fairly good range of capability of capacitance, and 600 volt oil filled capacitors.Could a country bumkin, like myself, then take power from the third coil of the big three phase tranaformer?Would it be a compounded factor of efficiency around 1.614 X 1.614, or would....nothing happen....nothing significant, just a meter twitch....120 volts in, 120 volts out...how about 220 volts in, and 220 volts out?All that is mere speculation, except for the Rotovertor which we have established the performance of.Sven is working away on the firing up of a Transvertor transformer.I am awaiting heat in my stone workshop, just so the Rotovertor doesn't bog down in its own solidified grease. I've heard of people using a deep well like 350 ft down for heat pumps it
seems it gets hot down there .and can be used for heating and energy
extraction ..probley not cheap .

JamesI considered ground source heat, but the Canadian Shield bed rock is only 46" down. I have an excavator, but that is the limit, unless I cas n ft. Ind deeper pockets of soil on the property. I then seriously considered building a hydraulic drilling rig attachment, in addition to the hydraulic thumb, I have already made, and found super useful for rocks, and big lengths of timber.I already have a big pipe chuck, and spare hydraulic motor, that could quick connect into the digger.It would just need a boom, able to handle the length of a drill casing, and a diamond drill head, for drilling rock, that could fit on those pins, where the bucket goes.
However, we will see how it goes with the air to liquid heat pump, supposedly able to wrench heat out of chilly -30C air. It has already been -16C in November, and is pretty crispy out there tonight.It will be another two weeks before the pump gets turned on, when my friend Mike arrives from Toronto, to finish it.The local hardware store just phoned saying my Quebec made wood stove is in.I also have as part of the heat pump system, a conventional domestic electric hot water tank, all nicely insulated to latest code, that of course, has resistance elements.How could it be bad to fire those elements up with 220 volts of voodoo power we can make?Cheers Warren

James, Heat pumping works due to thermal differentials. Believe it or 
not but Industrial MVR (Mechanical Vapor Re-compression) has achieved a 
fantastic 40:1 COP. Domestic Heat Pumps run around a COP of 6:1. (scroll

The COP increases with less differential temperature between the cold and hot side of the heat pump.

With the outside air temperatures that Warren mentions the inside temperature must be quite low to get the high COP. Heating all the floor keeps the hot side at a lower temperature but with down to -30 degrees Celsius and perhaps +30 degrees Celsius on the floor this amounts to 60 degrees C or K in difference. I doubt the COP is high at these extremes. Perhaps it's still better than pure resistance heating.

Thanks norm will look in to it   Warren a couple of thisngs  one you could
go to r30 insulation like they use in Alaska .or use propane pluse heating
...very good for max thermal useage with propane .or see if they have
natural gas available in your area .that's best ..no storage .....I like
the r30 because it's a one time expenditure. And lasts for a life time .but
a combo of pluse and r30 would be sweet ...on another topic I was wondering
if you might know what kind of out put you might get on your RV if you ran
it on 220 v ?.with a 220 v Variac ?..thing Hector could stop fighting
acilies long enough to say ?. Marry Christmas guys good hunting .

Warren something else ..a Russian fire place is very good on wood and safe
.and if you have some land plant sorghum  and put it Thu crushers to

Hay Warren here's another one I heard about .a lady ran the copper lines
into her barn that was well insulated where her chickens and horses and
other animals were during winter .she used her heat pump to heat her home
for almost nothing using there body heat .plus fresh eggs and rabbit meat
.savesxa lot on digging and never gets below -30 deg .

Heating all the floor keeps the hot side at a lower temperature but with down to -30 degrees Celsius and perhaps +30 degrees Celsius on the floor this amounts to 60 degrees C or K in difference. I doubt the COP is high at these extremes. Perhaps it's still better than pure resistance heating.

James, Warren, one major factor with heating is almost allways 
overlooked, that being long wave Infra-red radiation that is direct, 
line of sight. The old fireplaces had a thick iron element in back of 
fire logs that radiated the long wave IR directly into the room. All gas 
and electric long tube radiant heaters work this way. They do not heat 
the air but heat the target area via radiation.  Look it up.

Warren,

Ole is right about the heat pump, will not work efficiently in your
-temp climate without something warmer evap side like underground, too
bad about all the bedrock, some people in similar situations were using
deep boreholes instead of the horizontal geo piping such as old water wells.

The concept of the magnet dropping down the copper pipe in slow motions,
perhaps a heater with a motor spinning neo's against a copper heat
exchanger might be more efficient as it uses the energy of the magnets. 
Also the RV powering an electrolyser where the excess heat is a design
feature rather than a flaw.  Could be the welder setup with a yoke
speaker magnet to make the heating vortex of water from Lorentz force as
Stan Deyo displayed in his antigrav video.

Did you ever look into the cavitation water hammer pumps to see if that
would work for you?

NormanYou are so correct concerning long wave infra red waves.You don't have to teach dogs, and cats about these waves, they vote with their feet settling right in where these waves come on in.Heated concrete floors elicit comments from people on them equivalent to purring.It will be interesting to do some observations.Cheers Warren

I am awaiting heat in my stone workshop, just so the Rotovertor doesn't bog down in its own solidified grease. Then there is the issue of picking up that transformer,  using the Cat excavator to move it into the warm, cozy, heated, stone barn, before the big snow comes. I am curious if anybody has bothered with such an experiment, such as this, and if so, how did they go about it? Way back when, we had a file of pictures for each of us, on yahoo. For somebody like me, it was great to be able to check out everyone's file, to see the various projects on the go. Also, for the future, I thought it would be there, as history, a comforting thought. As it is, we are free to bumble along, repeating each other's failed experiments, and not trying to replicate the successes, trial and error, without checking the  history. 1.614X 1.614? MickThis untested heat pump, as yet fired up, comes from Winnipeg, with technology from Norway.It is the only one that is supposed to work at -30CIt is variable brushless dc of 220 volts, requiring a 20 amp breaker in the panel, but claiming 10.2 amp consumption.We will see.....?The local hardware store just delivered a wood stove, just in case.We have more firewood than we can use in a year, just picking up the fallen sugar maple limbs  some more than 30" diameter.We have gone through 16 chain saw blades so far, since moving in.The old square nails are bad to hit, doing barn beams.
We are also putting solar panels on the roofs for PV collectionIt will be about getting off the grid, then seeing how practical it can be.I have lived quite a number of years off grid, in my schooner, so, it really is no big deal, with access to so much space.Cheers Warren

Ole is right about the heat pump, will not work efficiently in your -temp climate without something warmer evap side like underground, too bad about all the bedrock, some people in similar situations were using deep boreholes instead of the horizontal geo piping such as old water wells.
 
 
The concept of the magnet dropping down the copper pipe in slow motions, perhaps a heater with a motor spinning neo's against a copper heat exchanger might be more efficient as it uses the energy of the magnets.  Also the RV powering an electrolyser where the excess heat is a design feature rather than a flaw.  Could be the welder setup with a yoke speaker magnet to make the heating vortex of water from Lorentz force as Stan Deyo displayed in his antigrav video.
 
Did you ever look into the cavitation water hammer pumps to see if that would work for you?

Did you ever look into the cavitation water hammer pumps to see if that would work for you?

All that is mere speculation, except for the Rotovertor which we have established the performance of.
Sven is working away on the firing up of a Transvertor transformer.
I am awaiting heat in my stone workshop, just so the Rotovertor doesn't bog down in its own solidified grease. Then there is the issue of picking up that transformer, using the Cat excavator to move it into the warm, cozy, heated, stone barn, before the big snow comes.
I am curious if anybody has bothered with such an experiment, such as this, and if so, how did they go about it?
Way back when, we had a file of pictures for each of us, on yahoo.
For somebody like me, it was great to be able to check out everyone's file, to see the various projects on the go.
Also, for the future, I thought it would be there, as history, a comforting thought.
As it is, we are free to bumble along, repeating each other's failed experiments, and not trying to replicate the successes, trial and error, without checking the history.

On heat pumps:Last year my friend Mike took over my studio building in Toronto, as his workshop. The first thing he did was to remove my old overhead natural gas furnace. It kept the place, a concrete block bunker of a building, warm and toasty, with a strong draft of hot air, at frequent intervals, from the far corner of the space.It was noisy, would blow your hair back, but was great for drying paint, except for the dust, it would kick up.Mike has a sweetheart deal for the place, and free rein on managing it.He is responsible for paying the heat.Endbridge supplies gas in downtown Toronto. You must pay a flat rate to be hooked up to the established gas mains, then, so much a cubic foot for the gas you use, on top of that.Mike removed all and had the gas service terminated, saving the$100/ month service fee,( 6 months of the year, you pay, even if you shut off the pilot light, during the summer months, not even using any gas). There! $1,200 / year savings!Now, for heat. Mike got an air to air heat pump, deeply discounted from one of his suppliers, wholesale, which he then installed in my former studio, and outside, in the courtyard. It is dc electric, variable speed, with smart software.Last winter was one of the coldest on record, but he reports being toasty warm, with a very modest increase to electricity consumption.The flat roof of that building gets excellent sunshine. He has managed to get some 400 volt solar panels that are only 3 years old, (plus enough for me too!)He has a Nissan leaf motor he is putting into his Volkswagon diesel 1.5 ton truck. It is a super neat conversion replacing the differential, and rear suspension, as a sub frame. With a crew cab, and the battery carrying capacity, he is going to be good to go for free. All electric.He is interested in any progress I can make with my experiments, towards something practical.Cheers Warren

This untested heat pump, as yet fired up, comes from Winnipeg, with technology from Norway.It is the only one that is supposed to work at -30CIt is variable brushless dc of 220 volts, requiring a 20 amp breaker in the panel, but claiming 10.2 amp consumption.We will see.....?The local hardware store just delivered a wood stove, just in case.We have more firewood than we can use in a year, just picking up the fallen sugar maple limbs  some more than 30" diameter.We have gone through 16 chain saw blades so far, since moving in.The old square nails are bad to hit, doing barn beams.
We are also putting solar panels on the roofs for PV collectionIt will be about getting off the grid, then seeing how practical it can be.I have lived quite a number of years off grid, in my schooner, so, it really is no big deal, with access to so much space.Cheers Warren

Ole is right about the heat pump, will not work efficiently in your -temp climate without something warmer evap side like underground, too bad about all the bedrock, some people in similar situations were using deep boreholes instead of the horizontal geo piping such as old water wells.


The concept of the magnet dropping down the copper pipe in slow motions, perhaps a heater with a motor spinning neo's against a copper heat exchanger might be more efficient as it uses the energy of the magnets.  Also the RV powering an electrolyser where the excess heat is a design feature rather than a flaw.  Could be the welder setup with a yoke speaker magnet to make the heating vortex of water from Lorentz force as Stan Deyo displayed in his antigrav video.

Did you ever look into the cavitation water hammer pumps to see if that would work for you?

James, Heat pumping works due to thermal differentials. Believe it or not but Industrial MVR (Mechanical Vapor Re-compression) has achieved a fantastic 40:1 COP. Domestic Heat Pumps run around a COP of 6:1. (scroll compressors).  See:
