Warren,

Ole is right about the heat pump, will not work efficiently in your
-temp climate without something warmer evap side like underground, too
bad about all the bedrock, some people in similar situations were using
deep boreholes instead of the horizontal geo piping such as old water wells.

The concept of the magnet dropping down the copper pipe in slow motions,
perhaps a heater with a motor spinning neo's against a copper heat
exchanger might be more efficient as it uses the energy of the magnets. 
Also the RV powering an electrolyser where the excess heat is a design
feature rather than a flaw.  Could be the welder setup with a yoke
speaker magnet to make the heating vortex of water from Lorentz force as
Stan Deyo displayed in his antigrav video.

Did you ever look into the cavitation water hammer pumps to see if that
would work for you?
