Ole, What is the thing that looks like a torroid he mounts around the shaft? Could this be a shunt wound DC traction motor with the field being switched off to speed it up and the flywheel compensating?

Ole, That video is really indistinct but I cant see if the shaft is either segmented or has a key way with permanent magnets, can you see either of these things? Hi Mick, The toroid ring is the stator inducing current right into the shaft to turn it like an induction motor. As can be heard it is in the form of pulses. There is probably two sets of winding on the toroid. At least the magnetic field has to enter into and out of the shaft to form a closed loop. Thus it must leave the toroid somewhere and enter back into it somewhere else after passing the shaft. Minimum two poles are required but four could be used to force the shaft in the right direction. Thanks Ole, The second video still looks as if maybe there are multiple magnets with a copper strap around them, maybe some version of the metal strapping on large shipping boxes or some kind of tape. I can see you have been analyzing and digging in to his work. I don't get the wire part as the unit just seems to spin in one direction faster and faster rather than changing direction where a wire might make more sense. However I am convinced he has the real deal and it's not sleight of hand else I doubt Wesley would have been poisoned on the plane when he flew over to visit. Hi Warren, Do you mean like thrust bearings? What is the function normally of such a spring ? The thing looks like part of the clutch off a snow mobile, I was thinking that before but don't recall a spring like that just the spring that lets the two halves be under pressure prior to the angular momentum spreading them apart or together. Not that he is using the plates for their original purpose of a V belt but likely only as flywheel inertia. I had never seen that video before it was posted the other day. It looks almost as if the motor would keep speeding up without load the way it starts and keep accelerating. Then there seems to be a sound like in hetrodyning against a stationary oscillator the breakup nodes that happen as one tunes raises the freq of the variable oscillator against the stationary frequency this happens just about when the light illuminates. The reason I was thinking traction motor was the thing is stationary and pretty heavy for a 9volt battery to start and it is seemingly speeding up like over speeding a traction motor when dropping the one field. Ole ,MickThat spring is just a simple form of a clutched one way drive. Hi Mick, The Small 9V battery powers some electronic circuit that isn't revealed. Nikola Tesla have patented the 32 ways of transferring power to the rotor without wires. I.e. the induction motor. The basic principle is two phases shifted to each other. When running only one phase is necessary. It's hard to see in the videos how many phases and poles the stator ring has. It could look like two or three wires feeding the torus coil. What matters is to deliver high power pulses. The small battery can't deliver much mean power. But if delivering the power as pulses the peak power can be very high. This is just like buying small computer speakers and reading that the power rating is more than 100W. This is single pulse peak power and is why the speakers don't catch fire when actually only capable delivering perhaps 10W RMS sine power. I know that Dr Tesla designed motors no one could figure out then they hired Proteus and he came up with the split aluminum induction rotor for GE but I have never seen the single metal Tesla rotor but then the egg of Colombus was not split but rotated based on the lobed shape and asymmetric field across it's taper I assume. Do you see a way the shaft can act as a rotor being solid and not split, or did you view something I missed? Hi Mick, If the shaft is made of steel it is both a magnetic and an electric conductor which is what is adequate for an induction motor rotor. Actually it's enough to only have the rotor electric conductive as the induced current in it makes it an electromagnet. The small battery can't deliver much mean power. But if delivering the power as pulses the peak power can be very high. This is just like buying small computer speakers and reading that the power rating is more than 100W. This is single pulse peak power and is why the speakers don't catch fire when actually only capable delivering perhaps 10W RMS sine power. There is no guarantee that this figure is correct. To me it could as well look like the shaft going right through the device and the secondary flywheel is free to rotate if it wasn't for the helical wire or spring between the two flywheels. The question is which flywheel is connected where? One end is the input and the other end is the output.
