DougYour idea of the capacitor bucket brigade seems to be working for Gary. Now I am intrigued with ECM motors. I had no idea they could also be generators.What about the Samsung washing machine motor? Can that possibly also used as a generator?Big cities generate a lot of appliances as scrap. Hi Warren Gary is using his samsung washing machine motor as both the prome mover motor, and also also as a generator through the hand wound pickup cpils he wound on the backside of the existing motor cpils in his samsung motor. And yes those pancake washing machine motors make great generators all on their owm, ypu can rewire coil connections so all on series for HV or parallel some or all for lower voltages more amps BUT They will suffer fate of lenz law braking under loading of the coils killing evierything...unless you can find specific rpm range and loading resistance where the Thane Karl Heinz delayed lenz effect will happen AND/OR You construct like Gary did, a cap dischrage output circuit in bucket brigade/ two stage/ diode plug design so that the only load that the generator or induced pickup coils see or feel.is filling the caps, and Gary noted with the "fillng caps pulsing" function of his circuit you set when to fill caps to happen at peak voltage of primary pulse in case of pickup winds, to be or whatever peak voltage is for whatever rotating generato happens to be,. DougThere is no doubt the way to go is making that circuit, as Gary did.I am trying for the least fussy solution, in terms of operation through a variety of loads.Heavy farad capacitors seem to be on the list things to get.The company in Upper State New York that sent me a sample batch of super capacitors is a contender.Ioxus 600F are only 2.7 volts, and the dimensions nearly of a D cell battery, could be packed in series.I am not sure about if electrolytic type capacitors are suitable?So far, my home made capacitors are only in the less than 1uf range, reliable as they are, and several thousand volts, before flash over, but nowhere near the capacity we need.I think we are likely looking at an internet purchase, once we varify the best type to get.For now, maybe the best route is to do exactly as Gary has done with all his components.At first, I thought ECM motors were too expensive. Mile assures me heating and air conditioning have been using them for a decade, and they get scrapped quite often because the controllers crap out.Yes, controllers crap out. Companies no longer supply parts, or the big fish eat the little fish, leaving nothing but the smell of dead fish in the air.I like tangible objects to hang around being useful, as well as decorative. I hate little unobtainium parts, that make something useless, for lack of a widget you can't make yourself.But hey! ECM motors for scrap, can't be that bad if we can make them do the trick. Hi Warren I cannot see what exactly are the components in GP's circuit drawings i blew them up on paimt program yesterday and still much is not legible. He says this is my circuir with some modifications so I have half an idea wbat to.do but i will need to write him ask for clarification page by page component by component so will do that today. Kone

Kone, In your Muller motors, how much capacitance do you require to generate a solid 1000 watts continuous? Obviously it's similar to engines and horsepower as the higher the RPM the faster one could fill the caps but based on your highest and best design so far what would you presume the capacity for a kilowatt of Lenz free isolated goodness? DougThank you for that.The Samsungs are on the way.I have to dig out my magnet wire and coil winding machine.Capacitors, and circuit, are the challenge. I have a sheet of 1" grey pvc plastic that I found in my supplies.It is toasty in my stone barn now.Outside the winds have been howling up to hurricane strength all night and plunging down cold.Two foot thick stone is working as designed, by ancients. Now heat pump is doing a good job. DougThat is interesting about pulse width. Isn't that a matter of adjusting time duration of the voltage on function?Have you read Patrick Kelly and his recent entry regarding a similar topic that is only a few weeks old where an Arduino board is used.He gives solder joint by solder joint detailed instructions in his latest version. Arduinos are so cheap that people who want a flashing light are now using them to be the flasher unit. Programming anything is a learning curve pain in the butt, but in thus case, may be worth the learning time.It is all 5 volt TTL logic control.My take on this matter is, simple is best. The first guy having a good working system says here is a control board for $100, gets my pledge, because like everyone else, I just want to use it, rather than go through the learning curve, put on the squinty glasses, and solder the sucker together, then trouble shoot the board, hoping to get silence to sing and dance. G I asked Gary which circuit it is of mine that he is basing what he is doing on, and he sent me this circuit, which is not a bucket brigade cap discharge circuit, or a two stage cap discharge circuit, what circuit is he sent is one to adjust pulse width using two hall effects, drifting them closer fo smaller pulse width, further away for longer pulse width. This was meant for peak coil shorting, to get a very narrow pulse width so it doesn't cause reflection during the shorted event of the coil....this is why the mosfets are bidirectional, in that the instead of just one mosfet there are a pair, and the gates and sources connect and switching happens between drain A and drain B....Not included in this circuit Gary sent is addition of very fast diode on each of the 4 mosfets, pointing from source to drain on each so that during switch closure the hyper ringing will circulate and not hit a wall within mosfet in one direction. Gary does use the 4421 driver chip, and the 4422 driver chip however, and these are neat things, as you can keep all circuitry the same,, but just change driver chip around and you can have one switch be NonSWoff and the other NoffSWon........as you will need a switch that is normally ON switches OFF to allow power to pass into cap from the coil, but as soon as the cap discharges to load, that cap wants to be disconnected from the coil (AKA two stage output) so now that switch that allows power to fill cap no suddenly becomes the switch that disconnects the cap from the coil and Gary is doing this in his circuits also using the 4421 and 4422 chips. Anyways my advice is when you get your pancake washing machine motors, hooke them up to a regular 96VDC treadmill motor, but a variac on it between your grid and the motor and take that pancake motor up through some rpms....up around 2000 or so go 50rpm segments, put a load on the pancake motor being used as generator, try to find a sweet spot in rpm where motor speeds up during loading and does not brake and cause extra draw....you can do it just by the sound really IF you find that then design everything to be spinning that pancake motor at that specific rpm. I am on fence about arduinos as I thnk they are a bit slow for OU work, in very immediate switch times but I don't know,,,,,never have programmed one....should be good for bucket brigade or two stage cap filling and dumping however but I don't know. Warren .didn't you say that you tried to build a son smith device but it didn't work out .? Some new research I've done may say why .for one thing you can't use standard caps or resistors .you do your calculation for resonant with your coils then try to put in a standard cap or resistor and your screwed .because the problem is that at radio frequency the standard stuff adds induction or capacitance and its off the mark and won't work .you have to check the coil capacitance too . I didn't understand how the energy coming up from the earth ground stayed in the system being there's no diode to keep it there but now I know is the tank circuit the resonant tank acts like a resistor and all other frequency leave it but at resonance it locks in the desired frequency .exactly like a radio tank circuit .and at resonance you've got no resistance it becomes a super conductor at that frequency and all other coils replicate the exact voltage as the l2 coil .finding a good variable hi voltage cap would let you tune with out being a pain in the ass .it reminds me of tuning a intermediate amplifier on a TV .if everything is in tune or harmony it woks other wise SOL .those non inductive resistors are hard to fine .I thought of the Möbius non inductive strip resistors put not sure if they have a capacitance issue.don just got rid of much of the trouble with the slide the coil in to the coil L1 in to L2_ it tunes its self at some point . Hi DougOkay I can hook up a DC motor to drive the pancake motor, via the variac, no problem. I am assuming that I put the output into a bridge rectifier, or bridge rectifiers, to output DC, then feed that to a load , such as a big DC motor as in a 180 volt 1 1/2 hp gearhead motor, since I won't likely know the voltage, and that should bracket it just fine, what ever it is.So...what should one expect with observing the sweet spot, speed up under load speed? Hi Warren I dont know if a motor as load would be so good, i would do liight bulbs or some big reskstors or make your own with nichrome wite wound around wood stick. Tbe motors woulx be an inducti ve load bit different tban resistivr not sure it wll matter much actually... Anyways i woukd take it to 1200rpm, then put your load o. It, then 1250 rpm, 1300rpm iilke that right on up to aroumd 2100rp. I predict it wil lbe witb 18 rotor magnets there sboulx be speed up when it is loadex. You can loaf it alwYs wait until draw to motor drops suddemly too. Load only one phase of the three the pancake motor will have so nothing overlapping. Try connnecting coils on that phase in series, all in parallel and combknations of each..thera actually is formula to figure it out will send linkd after tbis Kone

DougI have my Golden three phase motor here, that I can hook up to a dc motor for this test.The Golden is approximately similar, perhaps, to the Samsung?
