Kone, Experimenting with electromagnets in order to examine a perpetual motion holder I came upon an interesting result. First after the inital pulse to hold the two pieces together the wiring can be disconnected and no longer seems to matter. However the units will not stay stuck if the magnetic cores are seperated by the tiniest gap of something non ferro like paper or aluminum foil. This seemed rather facinating that the naked magnets energized would stick together until pulled apart then not stick again without repeated power but if any non ferro "insulator" was put between the two then they would only stick with power on. The cores are mumetal so not apt to stay magnetized. I was wondering if you exloited this condition in any of your konemotors? Often the tiniest of flux will destroy the FE performance such as in a Joe Cell or TPU. Hector mentioned he was able to get an Eklinator working by removing the flux shorted parts of the device. Thinking along these lines back to Hector and his paper gapped tranny(transformers not chicks with dicks) laminations. When one desires the fast n' easy magnetic switching along the lines of VTA or MEG then perhaps engineering around the perpetual motion holder effect is advised. Sometimes the flo of fast n' easy is so niiiice.

Kone, Exactly latching great definition! In a regular transformer they usually use varnish or rust on the lams to cut down on the eddy current and prevent the core heating but they do not consider the latching as you say. I found it very interesting that aluminum foil prevented this latching and aluminum is a very good conductor but also paramagnetic so a reflector rather than conductor of B field energyy. Based on multiple reasons likely the best material between lams is natural rubber.or if one desired to make use of the eddy currents and pull more energy out mica so that one would have a trannycap. The deeper I dig into the OU devices more imporatnt than resonance is clean fast magnetic switching. Also if one looks at Teslas notes I forget which but one shows pickup coils perpendicular to the inductor just like your splatter coils for harvest.

Hi Mick I see what you mean for very fast switching having a bit of insulator can help the switching speed to cut down on the latching of the cores... Hectors Eklin-Brown looper (spun by RV motor) back in the 80s he said that the airgap was super important as well as there must no shorted out laminations, especially at the ends where it is cut-off and the cutting process will create the shorted laminates...
