Test#1

This is the first run with the Golden motor as a generator being turned by a 1/2hp dc motor with 1:2 ratio pulleys.There were no meters, except a multimeter at this point as it was just a mechanical run through.I put a little incandescent bulb between two of the three generator wires and got 115 volts at 100 volts on the auto transformer.It was all looking good until the auto transformer burst into flame.It is burnt toast.I really shouldn't have used only a 5 amp one, but it was handy, and ready to  go.
I never got to the point of testing various speeds by putting the tachometer on the Golden motor ,Which if on a bicycle, would no doubt, be doing well over any speed limit.
I now have to rig up another Variac or auto transformer.

Woopys test and viceo showed 2200 rpm with 16 ns maggnets for delayed lenz xand rotor speed up so suspect with 64 magnets it migbt be 525rpm but your  load amd coil inductamce the other factors so mezs around witb it alot too fast doesnt work as lonv az too ow so try and bave small incrememtz to rpm testing.

DougI am beginning to get a little understanding of this process to get 10 kw.The Golden motor can work as an alternator, I am betting, the advantage being the break from Lenz's law drag, which is no small trick.
On the other hand, as Capt Gary, and his friend Tim, imply by their choices of alternator, using ECM motors, there may be limitations to how much power you can draw off a pancake motor like the Samsung, compared to an ECM industrial motor.I don't know.That is why I am getting hands on experience here, seeing stuff for myself.There are several things going on:Hyper powerful drive motors on steroids, using high voltage DC pulses, at exactly the right moments.Alternators turned at a speed which blanks out the magnetic block walls, eliminating that drag we think of as Lenz's law.I experienced the hyper powerful motor, back in the early 80's doing a job for Artist Norman White, building a full sized aluminium break dancing man.Norm is a very savvy electronics artist, who supplied powerful stepper motors to rotate the figure's limbs, and programs that shot chopped dc  high voltage to those motors.The problem was those weenie little shafts. The motors had so much power, they simply twisted the shafts off during a dance routine.We were able to convince Norm to go with large diameter hollow shafts, and tooth belt gear reduction boxes integrated into the honey comb aluminium construction. He had to revise his program rpms, but now it worked reliably. My point gets back to those motors.They did not smoke or get hot running on 400 volts of chopped DC, much to my surprise.They were fancy aerospace motors that would never, under normal use shear a shaft. That said, one can get astounding power out of a little package.Maybe 10 kw? From a Samsung?Gary and Tim seem to have a sophisticated understanding of this.I am way down the learning curve, trying to figure this out.The ball park power in, and power out, sure is looking attractive, at this time.Cheers Warren

DougDownload Patrick Kelly's new chapter 32 on how others are working on this same phenomena.They are using the Samsung as the hyper powerful drive motor, that turns a 10 kw generator.It is primitive, and simple, once you figure out that the Samsung is working way over the normal voltage on chopped DC driving a normal garden variety 10kw generatorPatrick does a full detailed construction instruction.My original doubts were concerning the horsepower needed from that Samsung at around 18hp, which seemed unrealistic.On reflection, maybe not so much.Cheers Warren

DougToo bad I didn't know you were in Iceland. I had a good friend I met sailing, an inventor, and kindred spirit named Gandi, on a boat called Drifa, travelling with his wife, Solvey.I expect they would be thrilled to meet you.

Woopys test and viceo showed 2200 rpm with 16 ns maggnets for delayed lenz xand rotor speed up so suspect with 64 magnets it migbt be 525rpm but your load amd coil inductamce the other factors so mezs around witb it alot too fast doesnt work as lonv az too ow so try and bave small incrememtz to rpm testing.

Check your smartphone settings and change pboto size...you can dlwnload into into wndows paint program  too, resize it there, tben save to foldèr convertef from bitmap to jpg, iff usiing desktop or laptop with windows

             My family and members travel  most frequently to Europe yearly.
We have endured many of ways . Iceland can be problematic with car rentals, shuttle bus, hotel bookings.
For your benefit call ahead and try to get proper communication with confirmation as it has been disappointing
on several trips. perhaps you may have had or will have better luck.  Some members refuse to travel in this way now.
It may be worth your extra effort to reconfirm.
