What was that snapping sound at the end?
Do you or can you measure work force?
I think Lindeman has some thing you can make up resembling a dyno effect.

Hi DougIt sure is running nicely.Will you run it directly off the shaft?What kind of signal would be ideal to see coming from the interupted coil?In order to get it, how fast should the switch have to open, and close?Keep up the good work, and want to get my daisy chain in action soon.Cheers Warren

That is 220uf cap filled to about 50v during the time of video being shorted out.
Cap is disconnevted from motor coil during dischsrge.
Cap fills from backemf/flyback of pulsex dc motor couls through steering diode.
1/3 of winds on ferrite core is motot coil, 2/3 are generstor...not testi g the gemerstor winxs now just the motor.

At 1800 rpm its 16.6m milliseconds per revolurion and 16 pulses per revolution...my solid state relayz wete too slow for tbiz, i went with the single mosfet now it goes great.
Not sure what interrupted means but if you mean pulsed, it will be youjr typical sawtooth  dc pulse with abrupt cut ol off with nice HV spike to gather into cap...
If interrupted means the coil split 1/3 motor and 2/3 generator the output of generator half will contain induced spije energy as well as indhced pickup energy from shared core as well as induced energy from sweeping rotor magnets too...i think key to minimal lenz will be timing of tbe output pulse of the 2/3 generator winds most probably will be slight delay compared to motor timing...also going to sbort briefly the generator winds that should put it in OU state i hope it all fepends on no lenz really

Have to say it sounds much better now than in your earlier runs. I am still on the heating and flow battery
concept. Hopefully can get the retired machinist back at it again.
Warren does good work.
He offered you a comuntater I think some time back.
I have borrowed one of his with bismuth and copper combination.  I had shown it to a local machinist at the time and he made one for me. Should maybe take him up on it.
When I was playing around back when I remember the carbon became the best known value for the said gain.
I also remember "Uncle" saying some thing about get as much germanium as possible as well as going with a array of bridge diodes.
I remember getting also a decent gain with a giant Reed switch the size of your thumb lol, but they did burn out quick if not calibrated enough.
Tried to find Lindemans dyno
Design for you in case you need it but did not see it.
A spring  with a scale arrangement comes to mind and some simple math. Something crude but well enough for estimation.
