Never saw your you tube channel b4, brilliant stuff!  Like the Fiat with 
the swell pedal.

Yes the washing machine motors are awesome and like you say are easy to 
make into Brandt motors.   Muller motor strikes me as superior gen head 
than motor, but maybe not have to get head space thinking around pulse 
set in BLDC rather than AC 3d but still there is elegance in the AC 
Tesla design and enclosed flux circuit for torque.  Would love to hear 
your comparisons and where you think each is best.

As U say very likely the extra slot could have been for rest as in the 
pics he has broken off slots around the periphery of the stator plates, 
now that makes sense thanks.

The Muller builds you make are really cool.  I absolutely see the 
advantages to using both sides but what about if one desires Halbach 
array can this be executed with the Muller layout?

Disappointed I did not know Brandt in Oregon or would have had to track 
down and bother him.

Kone, One can flip the pulse electronically yes but then I don't think 
one can take advantage of the self cooling effect of opposite windings 
on the same coil.

Look at 1:15 into video for explanation of simultaneous push plus pull power to a pulse with coil stretching across to N and S magnet edges. You need to flip polArity of pulse every other firing. This is what I think Ron Brandt does too, but in radial, not axial, fashion with his 16 curved rotor magnets and conventional stator with the 48 or 49 slots.

I had that old farm for 8 years I was lucky it was  my brothers investment property sort of he sold it for 2.5 million after 10 years  paid 800K  for it I paid 600bucks a month rent while there made lots of stuff plus Fuckedtones jam room in basement could play as.loud as we wanted day or night
That fiat could go 50mph but trouble going up hills motor can't turn slow and lug very well it gets hot still have that fiat have a  3 rotor 24 magnt big Muller meant to replace the forklift motor but need time to do it plus other side of world now.
All the stuff I built at old farm I stuffed into wood shed unbelievable.mess it is now....hope to return to USA early spring...

DougI really know your moving and storing blues. I had to do that while taking two years off each trip south.I dissapated 3600 square feet of workspace into a borrowed old two car garage, packed floor to ceiling with my stuff, and left other stuff, with other friends. Squirrels and raccoons take over any space left unattended in Toronto, that they can get into.I now feel like a survivor of post traumatic stress, in recovery, with this rural space. I have embraced working with stone, and timber, and maybe, just maybe, we will get it all closed in before the bone cracking cold sets in.I await the arrival of a drum of glycol from Toronto, to fill the floor heating system of the little stone barn, which is now closed in, and not yet freezing inside, though it is -16C tonight. I think all that heavy, thick stone acts as some kind of heat capacitor. Though, we removed 45 tons of boulders from under the skin of the concrete floor, the two foot thick walls seem to retain heat.I think the original idea of the building was to keep horses there, feed them the hay in the loft, let their body heat replace that which radiated out, keeping the space pretty doable in the winter.Last winter, it was not heated, and became godawful cold, sucking any heat from your body. It also was drafty about the roof before we put in four inches of spray urethane.After the chaos of the city, this seems like a dream, where one can experiment. Rural is better, even if the goodies, like free microwave transformers arn't there, along the sidewalk, while you walk the dogs every morning. Or special bonus mornings scoring a DC motor tread mill, with a 3 hp motor! Just thrown out!I hope you get settled well.Cheers Warren

You probably know but you said stone work and heating ..the Romans put in
stone floors and used fire wood to heat them from the under side .radiant
heating .
