Hi all Gary Porter just made a video of his next project copying a looping machine that supplied heat and power to a guy named Tim's RV (rectreational vehicle not rotovertor) for three years, and no external power supply...Tim now has it on a yacht in South America somewhere. The lay out far as I know so far, is one of those washing machine pancake motors in this case a Samsung, and has a special ECM switching and timing board running it, which Gary made himself, and he also sent a couple to Tim who is now trying out Garys ECM while Tim sent Gary the ECM he uses too so good collaboration going on.... Anyways this pancake motor spins a 42 pound flywheel and flywheel is connected with rubber toothed timing belt to the pair of BLDCs that act as generators....Not sure if he uses the teeth in the timing belts however...I asked Gary some questions on his youtube comments section also he is emailing me too so should get a schematic and layout BLDC model numbers soon... Here is Gary's video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1cr_LFlfqqo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1cr_LFlfqqo

Hi DougMy yacht masts only go up to 65 feet, and my budget is no where near, into the 25k range, like the idle rich.My collection of stone, and timber buildings have had hardly any work done on them for at least 50 years, romantic as they looked to us, we have never worked so hard in our lives, as this last Summer. My wife refers to our place as stalag vacations.com, where we get to work dawn to dusk, every day.She has become an expert diesel excavator operator with the Cat, and now runs the Nifty Lift, the hydraulic rental unit, that is on tracks, able to hoist us up to 40 feet, as we replace posts and beams, in preparation for the new roof on the big barn.Little did we know what we were getting into, last November. 25 grand? I need the do it yourself version, or kit.Likely, I will just have to tough it out making something up from apparatus I have here.It is great news to hear, however, warming the cockles of all our hearts, that we hopefuls, are not totally bonkers.Cheers Warren Sent from Yahoo Mail on Android On Tue, 9 Oct 2018 at 12:07 PM, [email protected] [EVGRAY]<[email protected]> wrote: Got some more details...someone bought the unit from Tim for 25K USD and has it on his catamaran yacht with two 90ft masts down there somewhere in South America...soTim is building another Looper but this one higher and better.... KoneWe must keep this looper well in mind, since it seems, at this point, to be real.I find the price quite expensive, and somewhat out of line for something, if you started manufacturing all that are needed, could not saturate the market in many generations. On the other hand, a few rich patrons can keep the wolf from the door, in the early development time.Time, and again, inventors have found sleazy crooks to back their projects. I wonder if this just is inexperience, or what?I have always found that it is not necessary to spend gobs of cash if you already have a work space, and each machine, then, as it is added, will pay for itself from sales revenues, or not be purchased.50% down with an order, balance payable on delivery, where my costs were that fifty percent, worked for me. I didn't get my money until everybody else was paid. I paid cash for all materials from suppliers, so there would be no lingering debtsOh well! I am now retired. It sure would be nice to build a system that can supply 10 amps of 220 volts, for testing. As you return, you might consider post and beam construction, if you find a piece of land available, where you want to live.If one is organized, you can prefabricate the entire structure, just like a kit. My task has been to restore this 150 year old dairy barn, rather than tear it down, like most people do with these aging monsters, that no longer contain livestock, and need repairs. It is going quite well.Using lodgepole pressure treated posts, and beams, custom made steel brackets, and structural timber screws, a frame can go up in breath taking short time. I am planking the sides with local cut 1 3/16" thick pine boards. The roof is steel. I love my 20 volt cordless Dewalt driver and those Torx screws.Have a good settling in, and remember that you both have a standing invitation here. We have a pair of Labrador dogs ,a cat, and a herd of chipmunks, so I hope you don't mind animals.Cheers Warren Sent from Yahoo Mail on Android On Wed, 10 Oct 2018 at 6:30 AM, [email protected] [EVGRAY]<[email protected]> wrote: Hi Warren I got more info on the looping motor generator in the yacht. HectorNow it is my turn to speak of what I have done in the past.In 1991 I mounted one of these tandem rotored, Indiana General motors from the main stays'l halyard of my schooner, where I was able to get, by switching a double pole double throw switch either series, depending on wind strength, or parallel. I used a hand carved cedar two blade propeller 5' in diameter, made from a 2x4. It was only used at anchor.I found it more useful, when under sail, to put one, belted off my engine propeller shaft, which turns at any speed over two knots under sail, anyway. It supplies all my modest electrical needs on long sea passages, including, refrigerator(12v), radar, HF SSB, lights, and navigation gear, as well as keeping the six, six volt, golf cart batteries totally at full charge. There is no sense of drag, but then, it is a 33 ton vessel, with five sails on two masts. The auxillary engine is an 85 hp John Deere diesel. It can go faster under sail, than with the engine, (to give a sense of hp from the wind.)These dc generators are nothing special, except they have a lot of windings and two commutators, and charge batteries at low rpm.I have three of these motors including the one in the boat. They cost $10 each at a surplus store in Toronto.I posted all about them on this forum years ago.Only now, you are telling me it can be looped? How would you do that? They produce Lenz's law drag like any other permanent magnet dc motor!I did use a couple, in Kone's idea of the dc rectifier daisy chain, series of ten big dc motors experiment I did.Although it wasn't looped, I sure think it could be, from my results.I need to repeat that experiment, recording everything carefully, now I have a scope. So Hector, how would you use this type of dc motor to loop?Cheers WarrenSent from Yahoo Mail on Android On Wed, 10 Oct 2018 at 2:24 PM, [email protected] [EVGRAY]<[email protected]> wrote: Ptuang! http://mwands.com/store/freedom-ii-pmg-permanent-magnet-generator be known that with a 10 to 1 ratio this can be looped ! 12,24 or 48 volts DC ! amen ! want to go cheaper ? try this http://mwands.com/store/freedom-hydro-pmg-permanent-magnet-generator some 47 watts were used to produce over 75 W ! DougAny insight that you can offer regarding this Garry Porter machine would really help a lot.I am not sure what it is doing, and how it works.Externally, it doesn't boggle the mind, making it. Those circuits are something else. What are they doing?I hope you both get nicely settled in, where you are able to work again. It helps to be surrounded by a community of friends, and being on the word of mouth network.Although these are challenging times, lets make the best of themCheers Warren Sent from Yahoo Mail on Android On Tue, 9 Oct 2018 at 6:47 AM, [email protected] [EVGRAY]<[email protected]> wrote: Hi all Gary Porter just made a video of his next project copying a looping machine that supplied heat and power to a guy named Tim's RV (rectreational vehicle not rotovertor) for three years, and no external power supply...Tim now has it on a yacht in South America somewhere. Anyways this pancake motor spins a 42 pound flywheel and flywheel is connected with rubber toothed timing belt to the pair of BLDCs that act as generators....Not sure if he uses the teeth in the timing belts however...I asked Gary some questions on his youtube comments section also he is emailing me too so should get a schematic and layout BLDC model numbers soon... http://mwands.com/store/freedom-ii-hydro-pmg-permanent-magnet-generator http://mwands.com/store/freedom-ii-hydro-pmg-permanent-magnet-generator lets say i gave instructions and simple schematics to a person who liked to use servos and experiment ..... ( also advised to practice tantra & spoke other sensitive stuff ....) with the standard warnings ,,, well he went OU , had to realize all other stuff was true .... was able to loop . some generators got its sweet point were magic can be found , and usually that magic runs in the 1.618 path ... this one somehow got some magic in it ... (H) ---In [email protected], <schoonersolsticemoon@...> wrote : Hector Now it is my turn to speak of what I have done in the past. In 1991 I mounted one of these tandem rotored, Indiana General motors from the main stays'l halyard of my schooner, where I was able to get, by switching a double pole double throw switch either series, depending on wind strength, or parallel. I used a hand carved cedar two blade propeller 5' in diameter, made from a 2x4. It was only used at anchor. I found it more useful, when under sail, to put one, belted off my engine propeller shaft, which turns at any speed over two knots under sail, anyway. It can go faster under sail, than with the engine, (to give a sense of hp from the wind.) These dc generators are nothing special, except they have a lot of windings and two commutators, and charge batteries at low rpm. I have three of these motors including the one in the boat. They cost $10 each at a surplus store in Toronto. I posted all about them on this forum years ago. Only now, you are telling me it can be looped? How would you do that? They produce Lenz's law drag like any other permanent magnet dc motor! I did use a couple, in Kone's idea of the dc rectifier daisy chain, series of ten big dc motors experiment I did. Although it wasn't looped, I sure think it could be, from my results. I need to repeat that experiment, recording everything carefully, now I have a scope. So Hector, how would you use this type of dc motor to loop? Hi Dave and Ron I'm OK got apartment with wife outside of Seattle now...she has green card too...we are 5 minutes from my old workshop and lab....have not had internet for awhile just got it going.. I will keep everyone posted on the Gary P duplication of Tim's looper which Tim sold to guy on yacht in S America....All I know is the looper was wash machine pancake motor of older type, that had only 18 coils.....I think any of these sorts of motors will work as prime mover. Use hall effects to time it and build or buy some sort of variable speed controller. Connect this to a flywheel, spin it fairly slow but step up rpms to the BLDC motors working as generators with automotive belts (not toothed timing belts but regular slotted flat belts like for waterpump and alternators) Simply find that rpm window where these motors with rotating magnet rotors will speed up under loading and not brake from lenz law...it might be just 200rpm window such as not under 2000rpm but not under 2200rpm you need to test this and find it using speed controller on that prime mover....not such a big deal eh..Gary mentioned spilitting the 3ph fields of the BLDC motors into three separate fields I will guess this is for the pulsing and timing sequencing using hall effects to time but not sure maybe he was talking about the prime mover pancake washing machine motor having this done to it, not sure about all this but whole concept and working model seems very doable and the looper on yacht now seems 100% legitimate to me... So the looper had two BLDC motors, I do not know their model numbers or brands....Gary just belted 4 motors to his flywheel spun by wash machine pancake motor (some Samsung model all I know now) I really don't think it matters if fisher and paykel or Samsung or LG or maytag or whatever....these are great off shelf motors with lots of torque for very little input... Look oin youtube Don Smith #187 for Gary's duplication confusing video however he might have some newer ones.,...Tim the looper builder who sold it to yacht owner had some youtuve videos up but I cant access them maybe later I can...both these guys open source both not too paranoid too so its all good will keep posting don't worry Kone .

Ash was going to send one of those motors to me , but it never came my way , , one RV and one as generator suffices for looping with 10 to one RV to it coupling ... another generator that recently was also looped is this one http://mwands.com/store/freedom-ii-pmg-permanent-magnet-generator http://mwands.com/store/freedom-ii-pmg-permanent-magnet-generator smithy lathe servo drive motor can be used to drive it to OU kindom come ! yes you can have an RV looped lathe ! Warning ! Tantra required , "divorce is possible ! " Philadelphia experiment effects may arise from it , time compression , inter-dimensional portals & the such including spontaneous teleportation to who knows where ( inside a solid concrete wall as a sample ) . so user beware ! Hi HectorI know one way to get power using the capacitor winding of my RV to drive a 10:1 step down transformer in series. Are you driving a generator using the RV as a motor? As you know, I have two Chinese WEG 450 volt three phase 3 hp motors, with decade boxes, to run as Rotoverters.I also have DC motors/generators, that I believe are similar to the performance of those shown in your link. What is the procedure for looping, using an RV, as a driver?I did manage to run one RV off the series transformer from the cap circuit of the other. That required a bit of tricky switching to get everything up to running speed as I can't start my RV with any load, and needing the full blast of the starting capacitor, as usual, in both motors, plus tuning, one, right after another. How do you drive your RV to drive a generator? What voltage do you suggest?I used a 12 volt to 120 volt pair of inverters for the earlier tests.I did manage to get a cheap 12 to 250 volt inverter on the net, as many European projects with success, seemed to use 250 volts, so I wanted to have the means to try a replication, on hand, should something interesting come up.That all said, what do you suggest?Cheers WarrenSent from Yahoo Mail on Android On Fri, 19 Oct 2018 at 8:37 AM, [email protected] [EVGRAY]<[email protected]> wrote: Ash was going to send one of those motors to me , but it never came my way , , one RV and one as generator suffices for looping with 10 to one RV to it coupling ... another generator that recently was also looped is this one http://mwands.com/store/freedom-ii-pmg-permanent-magnet-generator smithy lathe servo drive motor can be used to drive it to OU kindom come ! yes you can have an RV looped lathe !
