How do I send a link to our group for a youtube video, that you might be interested in seeing?It is an old one, a replication of Rosemary Ainsely's circuit, by a guy named Aaron, that I found quite well done, where he harvests a negative spike voltage to heat a resistor using a certain mosfet, that is operating in self oscillation mode
beyond specs. He also charges the battery higher than starting voltage.I bought a tube of these mosfets, as I was hoping to use this idea to heat a giant can of Campbell's soup for on top of a ski hill ( I'm not making this shit up, it was a job!)As it turned out, we had no snow in Canada that winter, and I had to rush the can out, heated with four six volt golf cart batteries, for the brief video shoot up the mountain, during a light snow dusting.They loved my steam trick, but I'm glad I didn't have to back pack those batteries up that mountain, myself!I did get to talk to Rosemary Ainsely, on the phone, about using her concept, which I could likely get Campbell's to pay for, but the winter was a dud, for cold and snow.She wasn't asking for any money, as she is a university physics prof in South Africa, but I am sure would have appreciated the recognition.It is a huge upwards battle for women in SA. in any field, and physics, harder than many.Cheers Warren

Open a video on youtube and then press right button on mouse and get the URL with left button onto the clip board, and then go to your email and paste the link in by hitting (control V).

How do I send a link to our group for a youtube video, that you might be interested in seeing?It is an old one, a replication of Rosemary Ainsely's circuit, by a guy named Aaron, that I found quite well done, where he harvests a negative spike voltage to heat a resistor using a certain mosfet, that is operating in self oscillation mode
beyond specs. He also charges the battery higher than starting voltage.I bought a tube of these mosfets, as I was hoping to use this idea to heat a giant can of Campbell's soup for on top of a ski hill ( I'm not making this shit up, it was a job!)As it turned out, we had no snow in Canada that winter, and I had to rush the can out, heated with four six volt golf cart batteries, for the brief video shoot up the mountain, during a light snow dusting.They loved my steam trick, but I'm glad I didn't have to back pack those batteries up that mountain, myself!I did get to talk to Rosemary Ainsely, on the phone, about using her concept, which I could likely get Campbell's to pay for, but the winter was a dud, for cold and snow.She wasn't asking for any money, as she is a university physics prof in South Africa, but I am sure would have appreciated the recognition.It is a huge upwards battle for women in SA. in any field, and physics, harder than many.Cheers Warren
