He also charges the battery higher than starting voltage.I bought a tube of these mosfets, as I was hoping to use this idea to heat a giant can of Campbell's soup for on top of a ski hill ( I'm not making this shit up, it was a job!)As it turned out, we had no snow in Canada that winter, and I had to rush the can out, heated with four six volt golf cart batteries, for the brief video shoot up the mountain, during a light snow dusting.They loved my steam trick, but I'm glad I didn't have to back pack those batteries up that mountain, myself!I did get to talk to Rosemary Ainsely, on the phone, about using her concept, which I could likely get Campbell's to pay for, but the winter was a dud, for cold and snow.She wasn't asking for any money, as she is a university physics prof in South Africa, but I am sure would have appreciated the recognition.It is a huge upwards battle for women in SA. in any field, and physics, harder than many.Cheers Warren
