Hi Sven, Your core is already over saturated. When saturation is reached there is no point in putting more energy into the core as it acts as it has vanished. The inductance of the coil wound on the core is then acting as it has become an air core. To harvest the energy from the parametric change of inductance the working point should be around the saturation point. Just move back and forth between the linear region and slightly into the saturated region to use the great change in inductance. In the linear region the oscillations are sine waves. Your curve of the current has spike like peaks on top of the sine curve which happens because the core saturates at these points. Most of the inductance then disappears and the current is free to flow almost only limited by the resistance of the circuit. Just use the principle and make a simpler device and don't use mechanical relays like he did. I'm building a hex MOSFET bridge to try some experiments along that way. This is still a scale model compared to Pierre's device. Pierre's next model will take him three to six months to build due to limited time. My progress is slow too due to same reason. I now have everything to play with the transverter with batteries, unfortunately I do not have the time to do this for professional reasons. In spite of everything I can switch additional capacities to it, of course, it becomes increasingly difficult and only possible with smaller steps but it works and the current spike is getting higher but very slender only a stroke. Norman and Hector have once talked about a hyper saturation of the iron when I play that correctly, reaching this state requires little energy to hold it. I hope I got that right, maybe Hector or Norman will come back to this topic. regards Sven

I remember Hector mentioned to avoid hyper saturation. The current becomes big and thus dissipates power in every resistance it passes. The power dissipated increases to the square of the current.
