Or the current increases because the core saturates which makes the inductance decrease and thus makes the reactance decrease. This gives free passage for the current.

I remember Hector mentioned to avoid hyper saturation. The current becomes big and thus dissipates power in every resistance it passes. The power dissipated increases to the square of the current.

In spite of everything I can switch additional capacities to it, of course, it becomes increasingly difficult and only possible with smaller steps but it works and the current spike is getting higher but very slender only a stroke.

Norman and Hector have once talked about a hyper saturation of the iron when I play that correctly, reaching this state requires little energy to hold it.

I hope I got that right, maybe Hector or Norman will come back to this topic.
