Hi EveryoneProgress is coming along with exploring various hp motors to drive the flywheel.The 1/2 hp. Ac motor could not bring the wheel up to speed.The next motor I tried was a bit of an antique of 3/4 hp at 1725 rpmWith plenty of slack belt and slipp, it finally came up to speed taking some time to do it. When the motor was shut off the wheel coasted for over 10 minutes until I got bored waitng for for it to stop . and rigged a break of sorts.The AC generator will put out a maximum of 2.6 kw at either 120 volts or 240.I now have voltage control to the slip rings of the generatorgenerator rotor with a separate variac and bridge rectifier. This gives me voltage output control al all speeds.The generator speed gives 60 hz at 3600 rpm being a two pole.Some exploration on hand is powering the wheel with a 2 1/2hp treadmill motor which I can take up to speed gradually using a variac and bridge.Work in progressCheers Warren

Warren with a large flywheel your part way to the Watson motor Bedini spoke
about .several kilo watt out put keeping the batter's charged ..pluse
magneto back EMF bifilar charger .

JamesI don't want to use any stinking batteries if It is possible not to.There are an amazing number of these third world videos, demonstrating working devices built out of found materials in countries where resources for electric motors are hard to come by, and represent a lot of sacrifice and persistance to build something as ambitious as these guys have done.
Getting the neighbour or friend to use his cel phone to shoot a video, links him up with the world of physics research, because it ain't happening in the good ole USA, if you check youtube distribution.Nature abhours a vacuum, and it will be filled. Too bad to think of the empty space going to waste, between the ears of polititions, and scary to contemplate what could fill it.Cheers Warren

Warren I understand that completely .I should of said that if things don't
work out your system is close to Watson's and instead of a dead end your
near something else ..his system was many kilo Watts .much more that the
batter's could account for in capacity ...it's been awhile but I think
12,000 Watts if they can pull that out while still running and keep the
battery up .well that's something it's like the flywheel was a storage
system  running on the pluses .have to review it . pulsing like what your
doing. There wasn't a  big battery bank it was minimal.
