Hi HD and all:

Here is super simple Clem engine build below in first link - he is not doing the spiraling chamber feed (maybe not necessary anyways) and he has the good idea of using very common and cheap automatic transmission torque convertor from car, and uses jets from a power washer with 90 degree PVC piping the jets mount into...Note that he says the torque convertor spins much better in one direction as compared to other, since the internal turbine adds to the spin rotation....seems like only thing difficult is the fitting of the hollow shaft feeding the torque convertor chamber with fluid.....a watertight fitting used for propeller shafts in boats should work perfect....anyways this looks like lots of fun to try perhaps so much torque it will smash right through lenz law lugging of generator as it makes power....bigger the better too is seems...
Also check out the simplified Donnie Watts design too.....I heard long ago Donnie Watts had his life threatened by the same company that killed Edwin Gray (Zpower? Ztech?) after doing this Clem motor of very big size so who knows it might be very serious machine::

That Thane Karl Heinz video of speed up under loading thanks to the high impedance coil, and the frequency of rotor magnets sweeping past the coil I think is very important, in fact my favorite "free energy" video on youtube....he shows 12W being made by the LEDs (I calculate anyways) while very signifigant speed-up along with the reduced draw....more speed up, more power generated....
So obvious thing to do is have many more high impedance coils of same ohms and design around the rotor, and if odd coils vs even magnets Muller design with flat rotor and coils each side, now you have space to mount twice the number of coils and if every coil provides a bit of speed up under load, imaging for example 12 coils each side making now perhaps 144W (12 X 12W)
This is what I am trying to do right now with my wooden Muller generator here in Minsk - so coils are high impedance, and I have 12 of them total each side of rotor...just need to get some good speed around 4000rpm and for that 4000rpm, not require too many watts to spin generator rotor at that speed too(50W I hope).....here is that video again

Hi DougThe torque converter is a way.I am wondering about the weight? What about a low inertia all plastic unit?ABS plastic, as you know from plumbing fittings, glues perfectly, as well as vacuum forming into two garbage can lid shapes, you make MDF molds for.Carbon/ Ceramic pump seal inserts
Bearing, and you have a production item. But first, we should just see if it works. It has to produce 3.5 amps 120 volts 60hz Ac somehow to drive the NFL football shaped pond pump, the same one the guy in his suburban garage doorway shot that video of that pump driving aturbine that drives a generator.I don't know if you remember that video, but I was enthusiastic and sourced one of those pumps.I got it and at only 3.5 amps, it is a little beauty for pumping water, much better than any I have ever used. Remember I do the splashy splashy thing with boats a lot, using all kinds of pumps, both hyraulic, and water.I'd be surprised if there is not an irrigation head that is already made like something the Clem looks. That is a California thing, Ontario gets plenty of rain, so I haven't seen such a thing locally. It is easy to build something to test using off the shelf fittings. Lee Valley sells a neat, and tidy, plastic 4 headed pipe tee, that you could glue four plastic electrical conduit elbow tubes on so there would be very little hydraulic resistance to the centrifugal forces as the speed picks up.You might want at least 3/4"pipe size even though your nozzles will be only orfices, sized for volume and pressure. Now what about the generator?Stock generators doing 60hz run 1800 or 3600 RPMWhat does this sucker do? Yeh????So lets drive a tread mill motor?Okay, it will likely put out anywhere up to 20 amps at perhaps 90 volts?(just guessing)We then need to invert that DC and deliver regulated 12 volts dc ???This now enters the comfortable domain of Ole, Sven, and most of the rest of you guys.Over here12 volt AC inverters are very common and quite cheap thatput out 120 Ac 60hzWhat do you guys think?Cheers Warren

Hi Warren
I think for first experiments torque convertor might be ideal, since it has some sort of turbine inside of it that aids the rotation power...(at least in one direction) those things you could get for free most any shop or junk yard....maybe one from a big truck would be very cool and very powerful.
This design is so simple there are a thousand ways to make it go....
Only thing difficult to me is that water tight rotational fitting - you would know just what to do with that with your marine construction knowledge..
If you read through Patrick Kelleys description and verbal comments he says that power is really huge when bigger and bigger chamber and faster spin to chamber.
Also Clem motor is supposed to make heat too, so perhaps can double as heater a bit too...
Patrick remember announced he is not going to work on his free energy book anymore a couple years ago but looks like he is back and twice as effective teaching and explaining it all now via you tube and with his drawings and his comments.,...look up "perpetual light" on youtube he does some really great stuff on joule thief circuits....
Yes I remember the guy with rubber boots making his water wheel loop spinning a generator and for sure that water pump you have should work great if you get around to building some sort of Clem type motor..
Also in one of the Clem motor youtube videos, someone describes how to make it better by the jets slamming against slanted steel plates close to the jets so there is better torque to the spin, also these could be steel spoons, like what the rubber boots guy used for his paddles....

DougIt was me who used the steel spoon turbine which in my case didn' t have enought torque. The four nozzle system seems a bit better for potential thrust.Cheers WRren

HI Warren
I thought rubber boots guy had steel spoonjs too on his paddle wheel but cant remember sorry...
Also the Clem-approach is supposed to heat up the water/fluid quite a bit, so perhaps becomes like steam engine a bit as well, adding to power???
also it is supposed to make a vacuum too, so that the water pump does not have to work so hard but I don't know -- all I know about this is what I see and read on youtube really.

DougMaybe we are trying to be too greedy wanting it to be a self runner. If, indeed the water heats up, thatcould be interestingDriving a refrigeration compressor with this rotor could mean that it might work as a more efficient heat pump to heat water in a tank for hot water under the floor heating based, yes, on electricity from the grid, but very little electricity since the heated water could contribute to the evaporator circuit of the heat pump through a heat exchanger upping the heat pump efficiency by the driving device which might only be 3.5 amps the pump takes.Oh, this is just a first thought, and likely full of flaws.Hydraulic fluid gets warm but you really have to work it hard to do so.I think we have to weigh this a lot more critically.Cheers Warren
