Thank you for your help. Playing like a kid with it may be the key. I have built a coupling capacitor bank from 15 uF to 75 uF per line. I just started with 15 uF, but it does not work anymore, just both diode plugs together. I had not tested that yet. I will now retrofit diodes D2 and D5. Fast diodes do not have to be that or?!?. I did not think that I could be happy about something like that again. I have increased the reactor inductance to 35 milli Henry I think it runs more stable and you can adjust the triggering of the scr better. I would like to test the ignition of the auxiliary scrs with glow lamps again I hope the current load of the pots is not as high as with the 18V Tvs diodes. Greetings Sven

Depends on impedance and impedance is also relative to frequency used .

I have the D2 and D5 installed but my system breaks down immediately, then I have D2 and D5 mounted only between the coils but without significant measurable difference only that the energy was exchanged. I have built there switch for the first diode in the positive diode plug and negative diode plug. so that there is no uncontrolled switching on when switching on because a capacitor has already charged.

That's the big question, of course, because I did not put the coupling capacitors out because I did not get the system up and running with the other components. Man also needs a sense of achievement. laughing.

Is there a relation to the resonance capacity and the coupling capacity?

yes as the speed may make discharge lead or lag , keeping it in center is advisable 

Example: 10 μF resonance capacity
 2 x 100 μF coupling capacity as ratio.

I have another drawing here, I do not know if it's yours.

If they can tell me something. As a basic.

I will be careful. Due to the higher inductance, I was able to charge the diode plug capacitors about 50 volts higher before I discharged them.

I will also try to drive the transverter with higher voltage and smaller current, so I hope that the threshold voltage of the diodes are not so important in terms of tolerances.

The 0.003 percent deviation of the components makes me a little headache. Which components does that refer to ???

The diode plug capacitors could be adjusted by additional ones each. With the reactor it is already more difficult, since I have already with a winding a larger deviation, since the core is magnetically very intensifying.

I will report.

May I publish the circuit from the transverter in my video?

SvenIt would be interesting to understand what value of caoacitors you find that work.I keep thinking about what fun it would be to be able to use those home made ones I can make, using aluminium foil and polyethylene sheet rolled together.Cheers Warren

Hi SvenMy home made capacitors, are in the same range of capacitance, and voltage, I am thrilled to report.You will laugh when I tell you that I use the cardboard tubes from the center of toilet paper rolls to make a case for each unit.I have found hot glue is a pretty good dielectric, sticks to polyethyene plastic
sheet and card board and the conductor wires.They are not super compact miniature components, but are very easy to make in fixed values, or custom values, increasing or decreasing the surface area of aluminiun foil inside the sandwich of .006" thick polyethylene flexible clear plastic sheet, which is very cheap, and common.The one trick is to use soft aluminium welding rod for making connection.I use cyanoacrylic glue for fastening the rod wire to the foil and 3M magic tape to help start the laminating and rolling process of the plastic foil plastic construction.Unlike the capacitor photo you sent, mine have the electrodes coming out either end of the tube, looking like a giant resistor rather than a capacitor.I have tested mine to several thousand volts, without arcing, or problems, but have not used them hard, in a circuit yet.I would send you a picture but my stuff is still being unpacked.There should be a picture of some that I sent to the group, perhaps on file.Cheers Warren

I bought ready capacitors. Retourware manufactured by Electronicon 1000V AC / 1200V DC 15μF and a capacitor bank with 5 capacitors per line. So I can interconnect the capacitors with each other for the optimum value.

I attached a picture of the types of capacitors I used last.

I just see the seller has no more capacitors on offer, suddenly funny. These were very high-quality capacitors that are tested with very high test voltages of several 1000V. Ok those are unused but also already some years old. I will ask.
