good advice.  I have a few old Hi ace vans which could carry a lot of
batteries and I'm still working on the weight to power ratio with distance,

the prime mover .then I have to find a good pulse with controller to
replace the inverter . heavy dam motors I'll need a crane and there  own
truck to move them around still don't know were I will put them .probably
out side because of the noise and vibrations. Piss off the people at ups
about cracking up my package delivery and left my phone number with them so
its probably just them .they put my package at another address .when you
can't resolve a delivery just give it to the first house you come to dam
the company protocols . fracking unions.

HiMy friend Mike isconverting his 2 ton cab over Volkswagon truck to electric using Nisson Leaf motors. The whole motor transaxle unit complete, fits, practically as a bolt on fit, replacing the rear differential, leaving the existing diesel enginge as a backup charging station when coupled to his second Leaf motor used as a generator, hooked to the bell housing.As I leave, Mike is moving into my shop/studio, to complete his conversion, with his own machine shop equipment.
We just made the Nissan to Volkswagon conversion axles on my lathe, and welder, which are still in commision.He is using Chevy Volt batteries until we can make a working Hector, or Zilano power supply, capable of keeping the batteries charged, or running the truck directly.My 1.5 ton 1954 Chevy truck is sitting in a shed on a friend's farm ready to come to my barn, as soon as we take official possession on the 18th.The Nissan Leaf has more than enough power, and sometimes can be cheap from the scrappers, since they don't do electric much and don't undetstand how to use them.Mike is my solar energy guru, and the best in Canada, heating and lighting off the grid.Cheers Warren

It is a trick of spherical math when learning to navigate, that we make an assumption of the sun travelling over the earth, to use the sextant readings.Don"t fo a second expect this little orb of consiousness is standing still in relationship to the cosmos, or we, our little globs of busy matter, aren't, in fact, composed of yet infinately smaller versions of that which outside the earth, the universe as we have come to know it.All of reality,  as we are familiar with it, is based on that which we can sense with our various failing body senses, and the abstract construction of what that perception leads us to imagine.We, as tool making primates, have managed to infest this entire orb because of our ability to make machines that extend our physical abilities, and our mental ones as well.Not all of us are equally gifted, in creating the various tools that humanity has nurtured. The conceptual ones sure get tricky when one foot is tied to a string and we find ourselves walking in circles in the dark, and tumble through space.It it works for you, hang on to that life raft, but bear in mind, the rest of humanity is occupied with other tasks, being free of that impediment, to some extent, or another.Now, if we could only restrain ourselves from making tools that hurt each other.Cheers Warren
