Aetheric/subtle energy is probably electric field energy. Wilhelm Reich used electroscopes to measure orgone energy. Electroscopes also detect electric fields. Reich describes an experiment where what he measures is exactly the same if the word orgone is changed to electric charges. The behavior is the same. Some ET sources describe the aether as electrons. W.B. Smith describes it as either electrons or positrons. Smith in his theory constructs physical matter from electrons (or positrons) which he claims are formed when the three fields of electromagnetism phase locks into each other at right angle to each other. The theory of Rhythmodynamics shows how the forces operate and builds up fundamental particles from electrons and positrons to form quarks then neutrons and protons etc. Actually it all is just vibrational patterns.

We could make aether density detectors to measure the aether like measuring temperature and atmospheric pressure. This could be done by measuring the speed of light or by measuring the vacuum permittivity and vacuum permeability. The natural constants are changing or fluctuating. The values in tables of physics are the averaged values. W.B. Smith also had a binding force meter to measure the strength of the medium holding the atoms together. This could also be the density of the aether although he talked about some micro particle gas. Smith didn't have a way to calibrate his binding force meter to some physical constants.

Remember Volta used frog legs as detectors of electric current. Now we have special instruments calibrated to natural constants for that purpose. Proper instruments for detecting the aether should also be made if studying aether physics.

I just heard a podcast (in Danish) about a farmer having trouble with his water. Some of his cows won't drink the water. Then he got water from a neighboring well that the cows wouldn't drink either. The farmer blames a 10kV transmission line running along the water line. The electricity company has tried a local generator has shut down the 10kV line among other thing without solving the problem. The water is perfectly clean according to the instruments of a standard equipped test laboratory and when transported in a tank to an animal hospital cows there neither will drink the water. The cows will drink the water if transported in a tank instead of passing through the water line along the high voltage line. The people at the animal hospital can feel that the water is different when putting their hands into it or drinking it. The water feels and tastes dead but their measurements don't see this. Now further research has to be made.

Three years ago something like this also happened at a pork farm. This was an EMC problem. When shutting down the electricity at 1.5 km (almost one mile) radius around the farm 10V 50Hz could still be measured at the tap point. Also 50MHz to 80MHz with strength above the official limits of EM radiation could be measured.

 But, you have to actually try, and be open to it.
 

 I think you will find evidence that the majority of the Free Energy inventors felt these energies, they were sensitive to energy.

 Vacuum cleaners, or kitchen appliances are good bets.

 I always wanted to try a pi / 2 ratio between two different pulse trains on a motor.
 I don't know if you can pulse the stator and rotor separatly to achieve this, but you would need two different frequencies to mix in order to set up a self sustaining form of vibraiton on the motor.
 

 The vibration energy is contained in the direction of motion vector, and is not per say electrical, although it can come from electrical modulation at 90 degrees to both.
 

 With an AC field however the field is in rotation.
 

 Also wanted to point out that I have observed in my experiments, vibration resonance has nothing to do with EM resonance althrough they can be coupled at 2 times the AC waves frequency.

 We can also set up an 89 / 50 vibration ratio around a spinning mass to lower it's resistance to acceleration.
 That is a ratio a bit larger then  pi / 2.
 

 Pi / 2 =  1.5707963 ...
 

 89 / 50 =  1.78
