Where did you find that?I think mine is 2 kw, but then again, the cast aluminium fan shroud on the generator looks the same, with those perforation patterns.Thank you so much!I will need to make most of the parts for regulation I would guess, being that old of vintage.The 1800 rpm is very close to acceptable Samsung motor speed.

It seemed to be for continuous duty, but there is no indication when it was made, or what model.It could have even been war time WW11 vintage except for the paint.Cheers Warren

A generator for DC, rather than an alternator producing AC andrectified to DC, just spits out DC. The DC slip ring is usuallysegmented to flip the fields.
