when we built the turbine pump back in the '90's we used 316 polished stainless. We were also unable to spin it up to the required rpm. Ours were parallel plates but it says if the plates arent parallel it will work better. 

 We never tested it again and moved on to alien technology. its more fun.
 

 Its not that the world doesnt 'get it'  Its the tooling cost and educational cost to market a better product. Much like a mouse trap. Its not that its better, its that the factories and every store in the world already has mouse traps in stock...
 

 Plus the world is purposely trying to 'forget' Tesla. 

 

 Once we emptied a 55 gallon drum in seconds with just a pin hole. There are other ways to transfer fluids than just 'mechanical' means. 

 

 There are other ways to suck water from the underground aquifers than just mechanical means.
