NormanWater might be an analogy for the maze of flux lines being disturbed by the cavitating propeller, travelling through a life form attuned to certain set arrangements of those flux lines, and responding by lighting up, or exhibiting photon emission.Perhaps other creatures dwell in the more distant edges of our perception, and even overlap beyond into other, for the lack of a word, dimension? For the most part, our awareness is only the result of tools and instruments, that we create.Cheers Warren

Yes, Warren the old propeller induced cavitation vortex sure creates a lot of pretty light in the boat wake. The glowing plankton and in the swamps, decaying wood also produces its own light emissions. Remember the fabled Swamp Gas UFOs.

Another luminous phenomena, I used to observe, was while sailing in the tropics. In my marine toilet installation, I used a clear vinyl intake hose from the sea cock to the head. When flushing the toilet, you manually pump water from the ocean, into the bowl. In the dark, this hose too, would light up rather spectacularly. This was attributed to plankton, able to phospheresce, when stimulated. On thinking of it, perhaps the interesting aspect may be the stimulation that the plankton felt?
Could it be electrical in nature, caused by the fluid cavitation? The plankton were supplying the light, but were responding to something. Propellers leave a trail in these tropical waters for quite a long time much like a vapour trail of a jet. It was a nasty problem for hidden U- boats, plying tropical waters, I bet. Cheers Warren

For years now, I have explored the Magneto-Electric Phenomenon we call EMP and I labeled it Neutral Spike. Plasma Physics is really interesting for we have the plasma formation with resulting intense magnetic flux, in vortex, counter-vortex flow, which annihilates then re-connects yielding the components of the magnetic flux as photon / virtual photon in a kinetic energy release which is Magneto-Electric (EMP) . Moray King is really into the nano plasma research and the re-connect yield of energy in water. Same evidence found in my Sonodiffuser Experiments.

Hi Norman
I remember having lunch with my friend Russel, a PHD physicist, who worked for Ontario Hydro in their nuclear program. One of his studies he told me about involved impingement corrosion inside of the cooling pipes, a worrisome part of running a nuclear plant. Elbows, he said, were the worst. He set up experimental examination apparatus for this study out of transparent glass, in place of the usual stainless metal pipe fittings, so he could examine the fluid flow at various velocities. Much to his surprise, it lit up like a neon tube with arcs and sparks inside the liquid, normally unseen inside the metal pipes. These tests were back in the early 60's in Ontario.
This story all came about as we were chatting about marine heat exchanger design considerations, across the booth over hot chicken sandwiches, and the talk was evolving into energy, as it so often does.
Cheers Warren
I could site hundreds of examples of the plasma occurrence all around us in our daily activities that go unnoticed. I'll break it all down the the most common and simple example of the whole plasma energy release phenomenon.
Walk across a new poly carpet and reach for that brass door knob and see a bright blue electric discharge and resulting sting of the shock. Now is the time for you to apply what we have learned about the conversion of magnetic flux into photon/ virtual photon Kinetic Energy. The charge seperation, accumulation of electrons with differential between your body (capacitive element) and the Brass door knob (capacitive element) cause the formation of a micro plasma with a very intense magnetic field vortex flow and counter vortex flow. When the annihilation event ocurrs and re-connect happens the magnetic flux is converted into photon/ virtual photon emission (bright blue spark in the UV band) and BTW, the stinging shock you receive is just a micro EMP event. On a much larger scale, Ball Lightning has been the results of a huge charge differential under special circumstances. The challenge for us as shade tree researchers is to figure out how to capture and harness energy that is so common all around us. We are just beginning to see the forrest instead of just trees.
Meanwhile on this site, I see many still beating on hollow logs with clubs. To each his own research and I applaud your efforts. I just wish for you to take a long hard look at this most interesting phenomenon and put it to practical use.
Meanwhile the DOD folks only know how to make more weapons from this phenomenon instead of Attaching our Machinery to the Wheel works of Nature.
