Hi DougThe Seventies were an unbelievable crazy time, both good, and bad, but full of optimism. That is quite the story.I believe it. I made a Mark2 WWll Sten gun for a movie, which the Ontario police confiscated for six months.I got it back only after articals in the news papers were showing contraband automatic weapons on the pile on front page featured my sten gun. I just started sending rental invoices that hit the main office. They were using it illegally, as a photo prop. An officer shortly delivered it to my office very promptly. Although mine was made of steel, perfect, in every exterior way, it contained no genuine sten gun parts. I fabricated everything , which in a sten  gun, wasn't hard, as they were pretty rough, and ready, war time productions.
We have to play with those lines, maybe making up a iron filings liquid filled glass ?Keep up your good work with your motor generatorCheers Warren

Hi Warren

Those thicker spaghetti strings and thinner ones out further, you will see if you "slice" through the flux field lines with glass and ferrite dust slicing horizontally, if for example you have magnet situated vertical with N on top S at bottom or S on top N on bottom doesn't matter.....

Actually this flux mapping technique told to me from builder of the hippy motor I call it (a looper built around 1969 by a group of people at that time also building fake Kalishakov machine guns for the US army assassination and covert groups to use, so that for one purpose of many, murders and assasinations could then seem to be coming from the Vietcong or NVA but in reality the murders were from the US military or CIA (phoenix program)

Anyways somehow Mr Kalishnakov himself was over seeing this program (probably from  CIA payments and offer he couldn't refuse or else)

And after this  hippy motor "side project":was completed and powering a cabin in looped mode, Mr K came and took it away, with it never to be seen again....those fucking hippys eh

Anyways I have explaned before here, but enjoy explaining again...

first they took a rare earth magnet (new stuff at this time) and put a coil and core on top of it it, and then ignited the coil with either pulsed DC or AC I don't know but probably pulsed DC...I assume there were two panes of thin glass between the magnet and coil, with the ferrous dust between the glass panes....probably the airgap created by the glass would be the exact same airgap that the motor  would eventually have.

So, when that coil was pulsed, you could see the thicker lines (these would appear as dots) and would be nearer the coil and magnet and thinner ones out further and more of these too....a very specific thickness,  pattern, spacing and number of flux "dots" of the flux-line cross sectioned you could call it you could then see.....

I was told the coils rotated and there were three at 120 degrees with two magnets at 180 degrees but he said this might be other way around since it was so long ago.

He said that when you loaded the coils to make power, and if the stator magnets were directly "in the way" of the rotational path of the rotor coils, you would get lots of bogging down and it worked like shit....(lenz law)

So to get around this, they mounted clamshells like ears, on each side of the stator magnets, and drilled holes in clamshells mapping exaclly the pattern and thicknesses of those flux dots they mapped out already with the glass and ferroius dust...

He said they used what he thought were pencil leads as the cores of the tiny coils stuck and and glued to the clamshells....I had impression these cores and coils about an inch long or so....but the length would be decidied upon just how much and how long the  flux stretches out into space as it  comes out there at the "sides" 90 degrees to rotation of rotpr...

Then each coil wire had diode on it, then all coils combined into single power source they had enough power to loop it back into itself, and power left over too...I also assume the coils in rotor would be pulsed in DC at appropriate time and pulsewidty to rotate the rotor, just as any pulse DC motor,  but perhaps it would run on AC too if you get it right....I don't know maybe there was a second motor to rotate this thing with belt he didn't say that but the whole idea comes down to collecting power from coils sweeping past magnets (or vice versa) without lenz law because of the 90 degree positioning of the clamshell ears, and the perfectly spaced pencil-lead cores with coils around them...could be and I think so, the pencil lead thing was actually very thin rods of ferrite like from some radio antennae arrays....The guy who told me this (DaveRzzzzzzbell) was a machinist in this project, and he made a commutator out of a "sloped and curved": gold contact plate that had  roller-contacts attached to shaft of motor rotate around and make sliding/rolling contact with that gold plate so that was how it was timed and pulsed (and/or when power was taken out in rotation) Dave plays guitar in fuckedtones in the later years around 2000 and when I showed him my roller commutators made of skateboard bearings, and explained the splatter coil energy I was playing with and collecting in my konehead motors, he then opened up telling me this whole story...he made a rotor for me to assemble into my motors, (for three coils at 120 degrees) in his off-time at worlk in machine shop, also drew me some pictures of it...he told me they weren't really hippies, it was just a commune building those Russian rifle copies but I think they were hippies myself so call it the hippy motor.....Dave worked as medic with his uncle during Vietnam war when he was only 15 in some non-military red cross type job he has lots of stories.....
