 The spaghetti is spinning, and this spinning is caused by the resistance of the aether, and the adjacent "reacting:strings of spaghetti will counter rotate like magnetic gears since they will want to be NS magnetically attached you could call it....there are for sure "thicker" strings of spaghetti near the magnetic "source" (permanenet magnet or electromagnet) and thinner spaghetti strings, and more of them further away. 
 With just one magnet and some ferrous dust and piece of glass you can see it all, but as soon as you get two magnets together, or electromagnet induced by sweeping magnet, or whatever there will be besides a single magnet to study now it gets into insane spaghetti strings that is almost impossible to map out especially when you have a sweeping magnet or bucking magnets sweeping past each other but maybe not that difficult if things are done in micrometer segments in sequence.... the "fields" manifest are one thing to study, but the individual spaghetti strings is another...could be the spacing and pattern is all about electrical flow comes first in the flow of the strings, and the resultant magnetic fields of strings cause the string-rotation and seperationn caused by aether between and its counter force between the varioius strengths and thicknesses of  spaghetti flowing and spinning.....anyways all just konehead theory based on konehead theory.
