Ole, I think Roman is for real, this is very possible he is using the
super fast rise time of the Schmitt trigger inverter to saturate with a
DC pulse train at a ferrores harmonic like a Q switched cavity mode
resonator. This could be very similar to pumping a ruby rod with a
strobe. As per your thoughts there is not enough current to generate
the Webbers per area otherwise unless the core is some freaky material.
I have to watch the video does it make the magnetostriction noise when
it runs?
Maybe the circuit is fast enough to create the NMR frequency
amplification effects in the core.

The simple door buzzer experiment is a classic example of the anamalous spike output because the iron core material is so soft grade of iron, you can carve off a sliver with a sharp knife. It is dead soft iron. I wanted to make soft iron cores from electrolytic iron or Ferricpentacarbynol which you can sinster into any shape you want. The iron wire coils were experimented with by Tesla and you can see by the above charts that they saturate very early on the scale. Tesla experimented with a coil device that used the idea of popping in and out of the saturation point which is a variable inductor effect which in amplified current. The rapid varying capacitor effect is used in the Hyde generator which in effect magnifies voltage (electron pump).
