Back in high school chemistry class you all plunged a lighted splint down onto test tube of hydrogen gas split in electrolytic action and got the loud POP which was the burning of the hydrogen in air with the nitrogen giving the expansion POP!  When you com-bust H-H-O in a closed environment without nitrogen or any other inert gas all you get is a loud PLINK sound of implosion and a release of heat.  During my Elemental Replication experiments , I burned H-H-O in an implosion steady burn with  a water cooled Pyrex condenser to get what I called absolutely pure pristine water without any signature.  Hundreds of hour of burning the H-H-O with no explosions due to the fact that an expansion agent was not present!  Doug (KONE) and I had a great friend in Eugene Mallow whom published several article on my Research. Gerry, You need to research how a WATER GUN works as you will see by reading these articles.  WOOD SHED TIME!

The water gun that Peter Graneau built fired a teflon 1/2 inch diameter rod trough seven NY telephone directories with the exploding of one CC of water with a 20 killo-joule discharge of a capacitor.  It is call the water fog phenomenon.  This technology is used extensively in the explosive forming of complex aircraft parts with exotic metals like titanium.    What you take away from all this is the simple fact that you have to have an expansion agent to get thrust or driving force!  SIMPLE!
