Norm,

Wish I had known you then, would have come out for a visit.  Those caps
how amazing.

Did you try earthing the high voltage negative pulses and check for a
mirror charge in positive?

As far as your understanding of the experiment do the little batteries
work based on that adjustable top load ball he had about 80 or so feet up?

Was the magnet part strictly electromagnet or a perm magnet wrapped into
a hybrid perm-electromagnet?

My thoughts wold be strictly electromagnet based on how magnets are made
now, but not sure...
