MickIsmael's coil experiment sure was impressive.Although at the present time, my work shop is a work, itself, in progress, it would be a wonderful experiment to replicate.I tried a few years ago, but didn't have it right, and it did not work for me.I think wire size, and length of coil is important, but am not sure, as I had such an imperfect understanding of how it worked.I even have a nice reciprocating test bed to make a captive version as a motor, complete with flywheelI think the basic concepts elude me.As you likely know, winding a solenoid coil is easy.Providing a high voltage dc pulse is also easy, given some decent high voltage diodes, perhaps in series, I think.My coil proved to be remarkably stationary to a fault.Even the piston placed inside the coil, continued the impression my experiment was a dud.I believe Ismael's video was accurate, and my understanding of the elements of the device is faulty.Has anyone replicated Ismael's work? If so, what did you do, and how did it work for you?Cheers Warren

Your concept makes sense. It is difficult to get much differential to ground without either the static charge or exciting the magnetic with high voltage. Completely isolating the experiment from any house power is paramount to determine the ground coupling as even transformer isolated floated systems seem to have ground coupling somehow.
Do you know the way you described is how Ismael effects the magnet repulsion or what exactly he is doing?
That coil/magent or whatever it is sure gets some altitude for a flat unit unless it is a barrel like a coil gun. Interesting just to try running a piston motor with coil gun tech and compare to electric motor efficiency.

last message didn't make it but I think to combine the HV static and LV amps you need diodes "front to front" at meeting point which I think is the spark gap. When enough potential to jump gap both pulses head to ground with coil between ground and spark gap...not sure where the static comes from.maybe small cap very HV potential filled up by however you want the dc LV also has its own cap.

One video shows 9v battery and two AAs or 12v shooting 1kg coil 35 feet in airv14btimes batteries drop to only 11.4 b at end
