Interesting, well, from an "aetheric perspective" there is a difference between applying heat to something with a blow touch, and ramming huge quantities of hot fluidized air through it, it is within the realm of plausibility that it would have caused the aether to circulate in the metal, especially is circular.
Obviously a lot of welding is done on steel and invisibility isn't occurring all the time, so more than just current and metal is needed, some involvement of the aether is required in addition, but this is not hard to achieve either!
Another insight I had is that we use ground and aerial antennas to receive a wide range of radio transmissions, this means that grounds and Aerial's are inherently wide-band!
And arc and spark gaps are wideband...
So when this analysis is done of Free Energy and other such claims, most have multi-metals, but also have several other things that expands energy bandwidth!
Tesla always shows Motors (likely noise, EMF filled and multi metal carbon brush) and lights as loads in his patents, what if they are necessary and not just included as examples of electrical loads?!

A number of years ago whdn I sas hang glididing, since we have so few really steep hills in Ontatio, that what was needed was light weight thruster. I welded and machined up a pulse jet engine from marine stainless steel 316L tube and an aluminium intake port, almost the same as used to power the WW2 buzz bombs, only five feet long.
We made a test stand up to measure the thrust with a sliding track and spring scales, burning gasoline, after starting on methal alchohol. It ran quite impressively developing a thrust of about 50 lbs.
After running steady for about five minutes, barking away with a deep throated howl, it glowed a light translucent pink colour, from the combustion chamber to two thirds the way along the exhaust stack.
It seemed you could almost see your hand through from the other side of the engine.
The heat radiated off was amazing, so much so, that you would have to be crazy to strap such a fire hazard to a flimsy dacron and aluminium kite, and fly with it.
Further, one of the beauties of hang gliding, was the quiet joy. This was like bringing a siren to a poetry reading.
The thing I was struck by, was the strange quality of the light from the stainless steel combustion chamber and exhast pipe developed by the pulse harmonics, seeming to be different than just heating it with an oxyacetylene torch, making it appear transluscent pinky purple rather than the orange yellow, white, one normally is used to.
After cooling down, it seemed fine except, of course, darkened, instead of the polished stainless surface.
Just an observation of an old experiment.

2 Bike transformer Keelynet, ok, I just looked for this and cannot easily find it, but it was on Keelynet for a long time, it was an account of a transformer that of made on a ride-able frame made of hollow steel tube and resembled a bike, there was a dead man's switch, the first person who started to use it began to vanish and let go of the switch, he re-materialized, another guy wanted to try, he was more determined and didn't let go of the switch till after he completely vanished, but came back a babbling madman. The point is it used steel tube and steel tube, especially if it has a seam as most will have can transfer aetheric energy to the copper coils. This can be found if you search well enough, it can't be gone.

3 coat hanger, this was told to me by a friend, they put a coat hanger across a car battery and it turned red, then white, then went transparent/invisible, but them pulled it off and it re-materialized I believe.
4 paperclip Amsci, there is an account that can be found on Bill Beaty's weird sci/amature sci pages where someone describes an experiment they did as a kid, they took the amplifier from some UHF thing, hooked it up to steel loop from one of those set top Antennas, and then they dangled a paper clip on a string in the center of this field, it made the paperclip vanish, and it re-materialized.
Generator (Westinghouse?) This was an account I heard from someone, he claims that a friend or a friend of a friend working at a power generator for the grid, probably a hydro dam, but whatever, when it had to be disconnected suddenly from the grid (some emergency reason), all that energy is still being generated but has no-where to go likely increased hysteresis and eddy current losses like crazy, the steel began to turn transparent, there was a "we don't talk about it' policy there. Not including this in the 9 as details are a bit thin on the ground.
5 Philo T. Pharnsworth, I think this was meant to be about his fusion reactor, but some of the tubes he made that had steel elements would become invisible or transparent,not sure where i read or heard it.

He found that when he threw steel screws towards the arc they would vanish! I would note that scramble wound involves wires crossing over each other haphazardly at many different angles and as such, this is likely "wide bandwidth" by my definition as well, also if the core of the transformer was not conventional then the aether iron flux energy could have entered the copper..

Ok, maybe this was not part of my initial 8 as we lack good info, but if as shown, the energy from the magnets should enter the wire, so it should have that going on, also current would be induced into the magnets, and the permanent magnets are alloys (admittedly I am assuming they aren't ceramic) and so should probably work by themselves in the induced energy is enough.

It seemingly would fall under the "mix of metals" except I have not read it in detail enough to be convinced of that, but it involved 3 bucking electromagnets (hence open magnetic circuits), the frequency would raise, and IIRC the they chased in a circle. Animals put in the center disappeared, one can never came back but others did.
In another case, a workman was seen by multiple witnesses to vanish near a bunch of Antennas, Antenna's are inherently wide-band, and they are made and supported with a mix of Copper, Aluminium and steel.

Sadly I have no idea where the info could be found now, but someone had scoured old papers and such and found amazing accounts, one was of a man with an invisibility suit made of iron wire coils, I have no other info, but it is perfect for illustrating the connection between steel/iron and invisibility.

Davidson and others, Sure, no invisibility or even visual disturbance in this example, however that antigravity should come up with iron and electric currents, it supports my contention that electrical currents and especially iron/steel (maybe steel because it is an alloy so is a mix of different elements, think "frequencies' at an aetheric level) done right can include an aetheric current capable of doing many normally impossible things!
Vacuum tube made invisibility ray losttech; Or, was it an anti-gravity ray, or both, the details are super vague in my head, but it was some vacuum tube HV experiment that produced a ray that did something interesting, vacuum tubes generally/always used some steel components to handle the heat.
Magnet, Pineal gland, Rawls and Davis, Also mentioned at that Keelynet page, no electric current here, and no idea is the user became invisible, but he apparently materialized to some being on a different plane of reality, maybe of some slight relevance

A few drops of Solider is likely not enough, nor likely would many smaller batteries be as suited as larger batteries, also likely playes aren't as good as wires, and wires aren't as good as bars, this is just speculation, I need to test these theories.
What about Joseph Newmann? He uses small batteries? Yes, but hundreds of them, also I don't think his switches are all copper. Also his magnet is not in a closed magnetic mcircuit so it should contribute.
What about John Hutchison? Well, probably his Vandegraff and Tesla coil terminals are not Copper, but moreover he has a high energy bandwidth due to the different frequencies and energies he provides, so he achieves it a different way.
What about Markovitch He might have used various metals, and he used a crystal, but more over he uses what I consider to be another different way of doing this, you offer energy 2 or more paths of different lengths, I am not sure why it works, but it does work and it seems to create a similar effect.
What about the Adams motor? This has an open magnetic circuit and so it should apply.
What about Paul Pantones GEET? It uses copper pipes and iron rod and steel.
The Joe Cell does wonders when installed in cars, the energy works with what is in the car which includes many different energies and materials.
So... use multiple metals, more mass is better (probably), ideally in series or parallel, otherwise as a cut cylinder C or a wire or rod inside.
Also a Conical or Pancake coil...
Also some wires cut to a bunch of different lengths (used by Keely) Takes a few minutes to cut, does not need to be neat.
And some wires of different lengths (very short to long) in parallel... (quicker to make if you use uninsulated wire)
Also a totally different correlation, energy like this conducting along a magnetic field does something for sure, previously mentioned here...
Also apply the negative pole of an additional otherwise unconnected battery to a circuit (Ed Gray's split the positive means don't connect the positive of one battery to the circuit IMO)
Also arc lamps create a wide energy bandwidth! They create lots of heat, UV-C, UV-B, UV-A, full spectrum of visible light, Radio spectrum noise (RFI), Plasma/ions and chemical reactions, Bucky balls are made, they make sound. The energy from them can couple into wires and other things and feedback.
The aetheric energy released with the conventional energy becomes conditioned, and recycled...
A lot of Free Energy circuits have a portion that is isolated from the ground or mains...
Finally, Free Energy ideally requires a degree of de-coupling, a bridge rectifier, or loose coupling transformer or other methods are good at allowing energy to be induced that is not reflected back on the input as increases current draw.
If I am right, and I am personally certain that I am, then using multiple metals and other methods to "increase the aetheric bandwidth" will be hugely helpful, but they won't necessarily be enough if aetheric energy is not working in your circuit in the first place, that is easily fixed, but just thought I should mention that, this is likely no harder than attaching the battery as I explained and joining wire the right way.

Also, if this multi metal thing is doing what I think, Conical and pancake coils are an alternative or additional method.

Coler used pancake coils, and Silver wires in parts and iron rods through which current was conducted.
I can also argue that Daniel Mcfarland Cook, Hubbard, Perrigo, Hendershot, Bedini all use iron in ways that differ from that of the normal use, and from my tests this results in much the same result as if it were included in the circuit.. One way if by using a split cylinder or tube, the other is using a rod or bundle of iron wires wound with a copper electromagnet, by being open circuit the energy from the iron mingles with the copper.
Some or all version's of Floyd Sweet's device included an Aluminium Pipe or cage that is magnet and coils sat inside of. A strange details.
Carbon brushes would count... A lot of people consider DC motors to have a too high efficiency and to be prone to exhibiting the characteristics to be made OU.
A number have also claimed carbon spark gaps have been involved in OU.
Tesla Switch used a lot of very large batteries, so that involves lead...
Searl used rings of different materials and rollers of different materials in parallel.
Swiss ML (Paul Bauman) uses Aluminium cans and the Linden experiment used iron wire (plus perspex and Copper and Aluminium), we should assume iron wire is therefore used in the full machine as well.
Ed Grey used a carbon block resistor...
Steven Marks used steel/iron wires.
Lakhosky's MWO might not be Free Energy, but he used a lot of different diameter circles and then used different metals for the different rings.
This suggests some force comes into play when metals or materials are mixed.
Dotto's Ring reportedly levitated, and sometimes glowed, but it used Copper and a segment of Constantin Alloy.
Ronald Stiffler's TMB (Thermal Magnetic Battery) despite being milivolts and microamps and without an inductive load, would sometimes have a fat blue 1/4 inch arc when the circuit was broken, as well as responding to movement of things in the area... It passed electricity "somehow" through a Ceramic magnet, though a cardboard or balsa layer, though plastic film... And it used Tin as one of the plates, as well as having a magnet in series.
C.Earl Ammann used iron wire coil to power a alarm which would have used copper wire.
There is a report that a steel Pyramid being welded levitated, so that's steel and copper in the circuit.
There are other reports of welding causing things to vanish in Gerry Vassalitos's books.
Stan Deyo mentioned an antigravity experiment called the "Wedding cake device" as it had 3 layers of Plywood circles and coils, but the coils were wound with iron wire, but powered from a normal copper based power source.
My own research supports the idea that metals and used correctly other materials by being used together leads to a wider aetheric energy bandwidth, by making the energy bandwidth involved larger, the aetheric functions begins to affect to have a more dominant effect, it affects more of the physical world when it's bandwidth is increased.
This is pretty compelling!
Now ask yourself, how many unsuccessful experiments have not use ample amounts of other metals besides a few drops of solder or a small battery here or there?
