Great stuff Ole!
There was something called a magnetic rectifier using a vacuum tube and
magnet I have heard of but not much info yet. I found that page about
Tesla spark gaps also, nice job the author did.
A great way for a DC HV impulse supply is mechanically interrupted DC
charged caps, hard to improve on! A cap can also be considered a
converter between two different types of electricity as it strips out
the B field. Also converts cold electricity back to hot.
