WernerDelrin is fine as long as they don't get hot. Doug showed me the diode bridge across the brushes trick, where you actually harvest the sparks that make the heat at the commutator, which keeps it cool, as can be.
If you, also, have a milling machine, you don't need much advice from me.You are way over the top from most people in the forum. Although not essentual, milling machines help a lot, sometimes.With delrine you can use wood working machines such as routers to create shapesCheers Warren
