NormYou know, you are sounding very credible, and interesting, regarding these funny spark discharges. Can they be related in any way to the sparks on DC motor commutators, as again, Doug and I have found more coming from those spark discharges than was used in powering the motor. You may have steered the conversation into a possible answer.Cheers Warren

Thank You! Mick for your, pounded it into my head remark!   One of the biggest problems that I have with fellow researchers is the fact that past historical evidence is laid out clearly for them to follow and utilized in our circuits in our search for the Holy Grail.   Classic example is current discussion of magnet gap quenching and the development of that highly elusive Tesla white Fire plasma.  You have to go back to the most fundamental magnetic device that Tesla built and Patented which was the preferred path magnetic rectifier used to power the DC arc street lights after he had provided AC power to New Your City. There were no diodes or selenium rectifiers back in the day, so Tesla used the basic principle used in the buck/ boost transformers.  Basically a full wave bridge so to speak using magnetic flux path to rectify AC into DC. In 1899, while working on Telegraphy he applied this principle  as depicted on page 25 in the Colorado Springs Notes. When you take a coil wound around a permanent magnet and DC bias via a variable pot the break over voltage of an evacuated plasma tube, you have created the key to the unidirectional gap.    You get a disruptive discharge that has absolutely no ring down oscillations and is shown on a scope as a straight down event achieving Tesla's famous quote Compression of energy in time.   When I built Tesla's Disruptive Discharge transformer and used a powerful magnet horn gap using the carbon rods and again used the alpha emitter thorated tungsten TIG rods I was able to get the white fire plasma discharge which was not a conventional spark.  What is developed is the brush discharge of many filaments or threads. Yes! I believe this is where the aetheric event happens.  This is an example of a Magneto-Electric event. (reference Super Light).

Smokey,

That is some great information, thanks for the Chernetski link mind opening.

Your pictures: a few of the thyratrons don't look as if they were happy being used as spark gaps.

Looks like you have everything together except the magnet.  Back to page 25 Colo Springs Notes which Norm so gently pounded into my head.  This experiment has all the factors you speak of, the plasma just stressed to the point before it conducts, the magnet snuffing out the plasma etc.  I would suggest that is the genesis of proper design of the Gray tube.  Norm is one of the few who had the actual Gray devices in his hands so he should know.

Something else I noticed in the magnet layout during experiments. Electromagnet shaped as a concave lens works well, I think this is also very important in order to concentrate flux like a lens with light.

TK is doing something entirely different, could almost be considered the inverse of the above.

Hey more than one way to skin a cat they say, but I love cats so take umbrage with the metaphor.

 Hello Warren,
 Thank You for responding.
I can only suggest that you bring it back out and have another go but have voltage and current meters wired up so you can see the instant of the phenomena and be able to adjust both your voltage applied and also the lower Carbon.
You don't need Silver on the Carbon gap.
I made a discovery which I called 'Impulse Discharge' and have included an Introduction below which refers to this phenomena.
The Russians Chernetsky/Galkin did the same calling it a 'Self Generating Discharge' which was replicated by Frolov but I only discovered this many years later after my own discovery.

 http://rexresearch.com/chernetskii/chernetskii.htm

This is what Tesla was doing with the Magnet around his spark gap, there to extinguish the spark as soon as possible as that was when the magic happened.
I apologise if I am repeating myself with other Posts.

What I am currently setting up is a series of tests to find the most active materials to use and also that of a catalyst in a Plasma Valve which is similar to Bruce Perrault's Ion Valve.
More information on this at Yahoo Groups 'dltorsiondevices' or 'Crystal-devices'.
What this could mean in your case with the CST is that you add an element within the cage when a plasma is active that is able to amplify the ambient/ether component to greatly increase any output.

My criteria for an 'Energy Synthesis' device is that it is non physical with NO moving parts and the CST fits that bill and you forget the motor side entirely.
Remember also that you charge Capacitors in Series and discharge in Parallel so what you have is a Voltage charge string and an Amps discharge string.
This is another modification that I intend attempting.
Capacitors below which I didn't mention are oil filled 8uF 4kV with 3 or 4 in series or parallel.
Again, the oil filled have ether entry conotations as well.

So, anywhere there was a spark gap, look to see if you may have interpreted that incorrectly and it should have been a plasma gap and just before an arc would be made.
Remember where Tesla was with his Magnifing Transmitter (TMT), he didn't want the sparks but just backed off sufficiently and was working with the plasma only.
So what happened here was that the controllers came in and said OH what beautiful sparks you can make with a Tesla Coil and everybody fell for it 'hook line and sinker' as it took you well away from the magic right before the spark.

Just sit back quietly now and think of all the maintenance that is really required when you have a spark, heat/constant gap control/cleaning contacts/RF interference/noise etc and why would anybody in their right mind want to have a continual spark running 24/7 and attempting to give you an energy for free using this methodology.
A Plasma gap runs cold with little maintanance.
Did you ever have a car with a multivibrator running for the car radio?
Guess what had a very limited lifetime.

 Impulse Discharge discovery:
 See data attached.
In the 'Impulse Discharge at work' picture you will see the ether entry phenomena in action, no spark at the gap, current near zero but the capacitors continuing to charge with about 1200 volts stored.
The supply for this is from Bruce's old NuEnergy Site in the Bob Ianinni 'Ion Pump' which works well and modified for a broader frequency range.
 Operating frequency here is 75.76khz.
Flyback is from a Blaupunkt TV 9kV and is used in the TV with a Tripler to give 28 kV but not used here and one of the experiments on my list to do.

 Capacitors are 100pF 20kV in a string of 10.
This is a variant of one of Don Smith's circuits with the caps above strung across the secondary and not in one lead.
There is something here in the string cap idea which is also unknown but I believe also has connotations leading to ether entry - dielectricty.

Diodes are HVM12 - 12kV common microwave oven types and have plans to replace these with 'fast' types as an improvement.
Notice the crazy angle of the spark Carbons as I was unable to maintain a face to face attitude.
At the instant of ether entry, the current dropped from 21 to 7 Watts and had wondered what had failed but a quick look at the volt meter told me otherwise and the discovery was made.

This phenomena was discovered in 2011 and at that same time Kapanadze was active and he wound up with a 4 spark very noisy device and I think that turned me off as that was one of the criteria I didnt want was an actual spark.
I set up an output from the storage capacitors using Gas Discharge Tubes (GDTs) but these failed miserably as did another spark gap and in such was the long road into how to downconvert the stored energy.
In hindsite now I should have worked to obtain a plasma gap at the output as well as input.

Part of my working criteria was no batteries nor inverters and a direct output into a transformer at the correct ac voltage.

One condition of note was observed in the Tesla Hairpin when the spark was operating in that there were more than just one spark but a multitude which created a bloom outwards in the spark centre and I guess there were something like 10 or more streamers in that gap.
This is just another test I would like to complete with this unit to see if a plasma gap can also be obtained here.
I have pictures of the spark and also from an oscilloscope and will Post when found - see picture numbers below.
The spark picture was taken with the probe sitting on a nail on the wooden frame some 6" away and has a duplication or echo seen on the screen.

When Bruce first displayed his Ion Valve, I did some experiments with units I made up in Copper, Aluminium and Carbon but did not venture fully into the research as I was involved with Vacuum Tubes and Eric Dollard and delving into Pulsing and Thyratrons as that was what appeared at the time to be the best means of downconversion.
The reason for the Dollard Cosmic Ray Detector (CRD) - used an OA4G thyratron and his Pulser using a 5R4GYB and 2050 thyratron.
The Tube research was also a re-eduction of myself into their operating abilities for further progress in developing a Plasma Valve.

This is an introduction to my work in this particular field and hope that it may help others with the phenomena we have discovered.
At this point I will add that I have some 5 other projects on my benches and all with a prospect of 'Energy Synthesis'.
 Respectfully.

 Smokey

1830 Ion Valves in Impulse Discharge circuit
1834 Plasma Valve candidates - see the green glass of Radium in the large capacitor - also displays carbon Anodes which were eventually scrapped but why? Near all have long barrel type tubes.
1911 Carbon Rods from old style projector arc generators - Notice the Copper around the two central ones and have now a full tin of these a little larger. Also Spark gaps that I use but find Carbon the best - no maintenance - Tesla/Carbon/Warmth Ether. Bottom right mid are Carbons from 'C' and 'D' alkaline batteries.
1913 Tesla Harpin showing it working and note the large number of singular arcs in the gap and how it bows outward.
You grab these lamps in your bare hands and then go dip the lot into a bowl of water and I am still here as nothing happens in opposition to ac electricity. The Neon Lamp transformer is 12kV at 60mA.

 Dave
I made a very nice Gray tube, years ago to the best specs that were available. The cage did give me a signal, but I was not able to communicate with anyone regarding the use of this piece of apparatus for, it seemed, of no interest to anyone. I still have it with my hoard of" might have been" interesting artifacts, stuffed in cardboard boxes, sitting in the corner of a barn. I moved them when I moved, for reasons , even I don't know. I supose perhaps like some crazy artist, because I made them, as beautiful , as I could, because I could, and hated to see them tossed in the garbage. I see this era, and what we are doing, as pioneering, and sometime, someone, might appreciate the heritage of our efforts, even if at the time, no one does. I feel your mess age is like a blast from the past, out of some other time zone. Are you, in fact, working with Gray tubes? It broke my heart to not find magic there. Perhaps, I just missed the secret password and was knocking on a door that no one answered? Cheers, and good to hear from you Warren

 Focus to the EVGRAY Forum:
 EV Gray CST:
 "Energy Conversion Switching Element Tube"
 See attached.

 http://www.rexresearch.com/evgray/1gray.htm

In my most humble opinion, all of those that attempted a replication of the CST failed to understand the working criteria of the original Valve.
The addition of the Silver tips is, I believe, by one of those replicators and was NOT required.

What all of these people failed to understand was that the unit operated without a spark and was a PLASMA event that was taking place at the gap.

One simple reason for its bottom Carbon rod to be made adjustable just to the point where the spark extinguished.
Imagine how long the Tube would have lasted with a spark ongoing full time?
This would have been similar to the old Carbon Arc Projectors that actually used up the Carbon rod to supply the white light and often failed as the Carbon rod had to replaced (1940/50s).
You actually adjusted the speed of the rod being consumed for the best lighting effect.

I actually have a bench which I call the 'EV Gray Bench' and is where I do all of my high voltage work and where the plasma event was discovered.

For all of those at EV Gray - this is what you are supposed to be here for and more to do with respect for one another without any expletives of any manner.
Now, I have given you some most valuable information and hope that this may lead to you also discovering a plasma event at the spark gap without the spark.
This is what Tesla was doing with his Magnet around the Spark Gap as he wanted to extinguish the spark as quickly as possible as this is where the magic begins.
There is also another modification that I have passed on here earlier with respect to Diodes in his motor schematic.

Now what is the name of this Forum again EVGRAY.
