Doug, I sure see your point.It is a huge amount of work to change.Then there is that "Oath" thing that is so utterly wicked.What a dillema!I know the RV can be looped in many different ways, if someone with my meager skills can get good results from it. I don't think one has to go to heroic ends, with bearings, and all, just from the practical sense, of actually employing an RV for practical purposes.I need my RV to operate in a dusty environment, 24/7 and have the bearings hold up.It is just the difference of 2ma against 4ma , no seals or with seals, and grease.I'll take the seals, and grease, penalty, and work those other phases, better, to make up for it, for longevity, and quiet running.I don't believe anybody gives a shit whether we produce free electricity, or not, at least here in Canada.I suspect that most of the car companies producing, or developing electric cars, are aware of ways too.Likely they are trying to deal with ways around the RF interferance with cell phone frequencies, and countries are scrambling to implement ways to replace gas taxes.My bet is converting your primitive gas guzzler to electric, without computer, will get grandfathered, and ignorred, when the pay per mile, as your GPS in your own car, tells big Brother how far you have travelled, where you went, and how much you owe.All these bricks are in place , in some form, right now.As you know, just because you can, somebody is going to push it to happen.Drunk, lousy drivers, will have self driving cars. Oh, and perhaps those with other handicaps, too.Well, my fellow baby boomers, this is the new era, happening all around us.With kids not being able to drive, whether because of insurance costs, vehicle safety costs, or whatever. Rentomatic self driving cars will be their lot in life.
Old farts like me, driving my 1935 Morris roadster, are just picturesque artifacts, like a horse drawn buggy, seen driven by Mennonites on country roads.We are tollerated simply because we are so unusual, and fairly rare. My Morris was the quickest way to get right through Toronto traffic, as it made people giggle and let you in front of them, just so they could watch if you were able to keep up with traffic, which of course, moves so slow, bicycles pass everybody.The MIB are heading for old age homes, as irrelevant, the organizations paying them, on to other matters, more pressing.Change is happening, and we are part of it.Cheers WarrenSent from Yahoo Mail on Android

Raivo built a nice VFD invertor that featured a backemf/recoil recovery circuit too, in the primary of it I assume and then he worked with and lived in same house as Robert Murland as RM built the rotovertor-Mullergen looping machine (self ran with 250W leftover)
Besides the special invertor, the RV motor/prime mover had ceramic bearings and consumed about 8W unladed...
The mullergen spun by the RV motor had special hiuperco50 cores machined by RM into a futuristic shape I like to call it (in files section look up Robert myrlands folder)
Anyways Raivo said a bunch of nasty things here on EVGRAY about RM after RM announced it looped and is running TV and lights in cabin in mountains in Norway....Basically Raivo called him a liar and he could not believe it looped, as Raivo left project a few months before it finished...
Raivo then disappeared off the map and for some reason, took down all the info he had up in files too...I would really like to see the schematic for his invertor but it is gone now.
Ashweth went ballistic calling everyone names and such after Hector managed to insult him about something or other that doesn't matter....Ash still has all the info on his Panacea site however which is good...
You are absolutely right yahoogroups boards suck, and good idea to make new board, but they are free and it is already here and established doing pretty good actually....to take it all down and move 2500 members along with all the files somewhere else is just too much for me also there is chance in the changeover process everything will go quiet and no more EVGRAY board as this happens....
