Hi Warren,

I did not know about the background of the newsgroups going to hell. I am not against paying for internet access as the infrastructure takes a lot of messing with to keep going, I had an IT company and know the amount of work involved. I quite like my little dish, it may be slower than a cable modem but it's the best we can do out here without buying a property across the canyon and putting a modem down there and a link ourselves. Anyhow the guy that owns the company comes out and perfoms the work and is hands on through three counties, a super smart hard working guy. I won't besmurch him his 65 bucks for my connection.

This is why we live in a competative democratic state, if you can do better you are free to do so.
In respect to the group perhaps we should look elseware, maybe one of those Ukrain server farms that host the dark web no one fucks with. It is very sad so much has been removed from this site. I have read some genuis posts from a few where the rest is missing. I imagine a bunch of Hectors posts have been removed.
I don't know if this is a result of new members having too much access such as the write ability on other peoples folders or if it was some MIB nefarious source that deleted files. I came late to the party so have less insight.

I'lll bet Kone would be able to find a good private place to put this stuff through Svet. Due to the satanic Kissenger this country is locked down with barbaric tribes that stone people to death in the middle of a desert. They can come to Vegas and shoot a bunch of people enjoing a concert with not a word said. This particular issue with petrolium being tied to our currency is an extreme probelm and because of this not a place to trust for a server location. I doubt Canada is any better as the UK is in cahoots with the US on this front and the queen has the last word in Canada, just ask that PM she fired.
I don't know how much server space in a safe country costs, actually it's not the safety of the location but rather not knowing the location that keeps things safe in the Onion world. As long as there is an active backup along with the service one can use to rebuild I don't think we will have any problems. That French energy experimenter, Jean Naudin, his site has longevity and has many experiments that should be sensored according to what works.

I have noticed a pattern to the supressors as the stuff that doesn't work stays up like all the Don Smith crap and Zilano etc. The stuff that works on the level of Prater gets hacked and the site replced with asian pages, usually Japanese. Oddly enough while reading patents some of the really interesting ones are in Japan where it seems unknown energy sources are not illegalized under the perpetual motion clause used in the US to discredit.

In any event I would not be against being part of a group to fund a new site if we can find a long lasting place to rehome that is relatively cheap. I think the serious people here are amazing and have much to offer the world.
Usenet would be a good place to move other than the easy web access allowing many more people to visit, I think this is important. In order to move to a commercial place in the Ukrain it looks like the cost is about a hundred bucks a year. If five of us can split this up, no big deal!
