The output can be designed to fit whatever voltage and current (and power) that is needed. Of course some physical limits exist depending on how good materials are available. Less capacitance gives higher impedance which means higher voltage and power but lasting for a shorter period of time. This is with the initial magnetic energy held constant. The flyback pulse is a half period of a full oscillation.
Here are some values of the inductance of the primary coil depending on how long the cycle time is with a 26nF = .026uF capacitor:
The length of the arc can give a clue of the output voltage. But then we have to know the windings ratio between the primary and secondary coils to be able to calculate the inductance of the coils.

At least one more parameter is needed for such a calculation. If knowing the capacitance and the time of the pulse or perhaps the energy of the pulse the inductance can be calculated.

The .026 mfd condenser was a perfect "L/C" match so do your math and solve the impedance of the iron core coil!

Sven, this 3 pole coil design was used for many years by Outboard Marine Corp 40s up to the 70s in the two cylinder magnetos. I had a magneto test bench where I could experiment with the careful timing adjustments of the breaker points (before breakerless solid state commutation). by careful adjustment of breaker gap/timing you could get magneto operating at peak of resonant curve in the "Ultra high Q" region! At idle, (300 RPM) a very well tuned magneto of this design would yield a good one inch bright blue arc. The condenser for this type of coil was .026mfd which was a "perfect match" to the impedance of the iron core coil. I had various values of condensers (capacitors) but only the proper value would yield maximum performance!
