Hello Warren,

My intention is to try on a smaller scale, as to prove concept of "Theory", then as success happens, just scale UP !
Both AC and DC rigs..

I've done the Rotoverter rig and have no issues with the possibly of "Looping" it, it's easy to see the energy is there.  My next step will be the trans. in series ?  The weak point in the Rotoverter seems to be the "Inverter" part...efficiency,  that is if the intention is "Off-the-shelf" by definition..so ALL can build.
I just like the "K.I.S.S." formula..[K]eep, [I]t, [S]imple, [S]tupid,  but then again I might have told on myself ? : [
Received 5.5v x (6) super-caps today in mail. Have to order more caps as in testing the Gen, it is putting out more than 77v....Damn !

Awaiting;
1) Various sized pulleys and rubber band / O-ring belts.
2) Flywheel bearing ( center )

    Hi MarkSince I am assembling this from bits and pieces from my hoarding over the years, it looks like it is a bit larger.The flywheel as weighed yesterday, complete with the cast iron hub, on bathroom type, scales is exactly 100 lbs.I am turning it on a 1 inch diameter shaft.I broke down and purchased a couple of pillow block ball bearings from Princess, along with a selection of cast iron pulleys that take tapered bushing inserts that act like collet chucks to clamp the pulleys to the shaft, yet make it super easy to remove them should you decide you want to change them. A whole range of cast iron pulleys can fit on the same bushing size, so I only needed to buy a couple of bushings.For the motors, I have a selection of WEG single phase 1/4, 1/3, and 1 hp, all the same frame type, and shaft size, providing they all work. The capacitors have been bashed off on a couple of them.( I need to replace caps. How does one calculate what value is needed?) I don't care about how big in space they take up. Can I just use oil filled ones that I have, just like the Rotoverter?I have a bunch of 100mf, 4000 volt caps, and a collection of smaller sizes, that I can likely make up values needed, if they can be used for this experiment.What I found intriguing was that on the video Darrell sent to us, the guy was using dc motors, one super charged, as it were, with super magnets.I have lots of big dc motors up to 3 hp.With the ac generator, I can use a variac, and rectify it playing with the entire voltage range from the 240 volts up or down to a 90 volt motor?....thinking.Today, if I can get my wheel mounted in the angle iron frame,  sitting and turning on the bearings, it will be a good day.I has been snowing for several days on end, ignoring Spring completely. My workshop is unheated stone, capable of sucking any heat out of biology that enters. There is a wood stove, left there as a joke, I'm sure, by the previous owner.Greased ball bearings with seals will stay, as dust and dirt will be kept out, even if there is a penalty of drag.If we are so marginal, in energy production, that it means working, or not, well, it may not be a keeper.Cheers Warren

Well, Hector has said the Generator has to have a frequency ( AC )increase for the slip ( 7% )which seems logical, as there will be load pulling the motor down, but the flywheel with a correct pulley ratio should fight the load with the energy stored in the rotation.  It's supposed to be what is called "The Wheel-work of Nature". A sort-of Capacitance in a "Physical form.?
Ya may try the "Magical" x 1.618 ratio or divide as a start....that's my plan as ya can see in the attached "Pic" / plan.  Parts on order... April before assembly and tests.
Will report my results...Failure or Success  : ]

    MarkIt is a nice video, but I still have a hard time following the ratios, and logic..He uses dc while most use acIt could be 3rd world availability and is not important because it is a mechanical phenomenon, and electricity is only a convenient method of energy transfer..Cheers Warrren

Hi everyoneThis is a little 2.6 kw 120 240 volt generator that I have just removed the hydraulic drive from, as used in the sail boat, years back.I am doing a silly little experiment involving a 100 lb flywheel, belt driven by a variety of as yet, un specified motors. I have RVs, and plenty of induction single phase motors, in a range of horsepower, as well as dc motors to 3 hpThere are youtube videos involving flywheels with electric drives self running in south asian countries. Many have put a very good deal of their own resources to their projects they are sharing with us.I have everything needed so am building what I believe it is.Cheers Warren
