Anything is possible if ya can think of it...eH?

Then on other hand if it fails ya gotta cute 'lil gen. set for travel purposes.
I still stand by the Universal motor as the "mover" - 220v...sure it's the country he's in.. I've never seen or could "Google" a pic of an Indonesian alternator ( usually being round )?

I don't see why / if he removed the bearing, that would be hell trying to mount and align the "Two" ?

MarkLet me get this right. He has supported the generator end of the shaft using the bearing of the car alternator. Is the car alternator now being used as a motor somehow? Can you do that? I think it is a 220 volt 50 cycle generator
Automotive alternators as motors? How efficient can they be?Notice the big ass capacitor. The generator's missing bearing explains the weld job and mounting of the alternator, pretty smart hack, when you don't have much to work with, I'd say.As you know the gas engine is used to supply the engine side bearing of those generators like that to support the armature.I have had to machine tapered stub shafts to fit a pulley drive. I am not sure what he has done in this case, but I think it is realCheers Warren

Subject: [EVGRAY] Indonesian looping motor generator theory

Hi allOK here is my newest theory on the video linked below all this....
The thing that looks like a car alternator on the left is a car alternator.
(but who knows maybe this is a AC/DC universal washing machine motor and I am all backwards in this theory but I will continue with theory)
The thing that looks like a genset with with gas motor removed on the right is a genset with the gas motor removed....it is about 750W size......
My theory is the car alternator has its voltage regulator removed, so it makes fairly high voltage when spun fairly fast, but it still has the diodes in it to make DC from the 3ph AC those car alternators will create without diodes.
The genset, he has working as motor and the way he gets it to work as motor is to drive it with the DC the alternator produces, and this DC is chopped in alternating fashion to become single phase  AC (only two white wires to/from the genset thing)  via a small internal H circuit or in some other way  like a couple of hall effects arranged at 90 degrees and timing disc with two magnets at 180 degrees inside the genset (a "rotating invertor" like drawing and video I posted yesterday)....
in an earlier video he did,  this guy shows a small simple invertor he built using some transistors and perhaps this H circuit fits inside the genset and is hidden on purpose to hide how he does it....maybe he has a full invertor hidden in there, plus some small batteries and it is all fake! I hope not!!
All the DC-alternating now AC produced from the car alternator runs the genset working as motor and there is enough power that you can pull out some and it will still run the motor/prime mover which is the genset...
So that is latest theory this is all in the category of "I don't know" of course, but that sure looks like car alternator to me however that fan is really big on it maybe from truck........
