Hi Sven,

I hope this message gets through. Yahoo is quite unstable.

"Do you still receive messages from me?"
Yes. But my email service provider occasionally labels them as spam which I don't always see until later on.

"60 cps is the same as 60Hz!?!"
Exactly. Over here we use SI units. Some others countries are still using the old imperial units or other old units that need a lot of correction constants. Hz is 1/s = s^-1 or per second. Cps is cycles per second.

"1Hz is a full wave a closed circle."
Only after one second! 60cps = 60Hz is a full cycle in 1/60 second or 60 cycles in one second.

"I divide this now by diodes on I still have 60 half-waves and that positive and negative. In a FWBR it would be 120 pulses."
This is only true for a one second long period of time. A longer or shorter period gives more or less number of pulses at the same frequency.

"What does he mean I do not understand that."
Each cycle at 60Hz is 1/60 second long (=16.66...ms). By splitting in a positive and a negative half phase the pulse length is half a period long (1/120 second = 8.33...ms). The repetition rate is still 60Hz. There are just a positive half wave and a negative half wave.

About the thyristors it says apply according to their datasheets and use protective network.

 Regards
Ole

 Hello Ole,

would be a pity if the connection breaks off now.

I have another context from the OU-Pdfs that I do not understand if you can say that.

"We are working with a dual capacitor system in ac splited in 2
sections one negative one positive (Were Bedini Failed I flew)
the plug splits a sinewave in .5 of an AC wave at were f = Time / 2
so a 60CPS signal is splited into 2/120 of a second separate signal
with a 30/60 of a second each intervals at 1/120 of a second lenght.
(for OU these are essentials (basic) for the correct theory on
 overunity transform. "

1Hz is a full wave a closed circle.

What does he mean I do not understand that.

I have read this several times already

 To the thyristors:

 "Re: Thyristor Testing
Use 1000A 1000VAC protected gate pucks!
Thoose wants to "hold" some "Joules" doing the job ...
again dont overload the freaking gates ..
 6.8K ohms minimum for 120VAC 13.6 for 220 27.2 for 440
 30K for 460 VAC.
if gate current is required see aplication notes from mnufacturer and
use opto isolated diode switched cascade circuit to trigger it
 properly ..
There are a hundred variations to these devices safely ...
Just remember you are dealing with RF and gate triggering needs to be
in phase to prevent reverse trigger.
Still I say SCR are marvel devices for inveter and hi power use ...
just ask yourselves why military engineers choose them over other
 type of devices ...
 Well they're outdo tubes 10 to 1 and transistors 100 to 1 ..
 Hector :)

1000 ampere thyristors so you can then switch to 0 impdance soon. laughing.

Betreff: [EVGRAY] Attachments out of order
   Hi Kone,

It doesn't seem to be possible to attach files or upload photos to the EVGRAY forum. I tried to visit another Yahoo group. That group made it possible to click "Upload" for uploading files or photos. If my memory isn't too bad I remember it was possible at this group to do so too. I do find posts where I uploaded images or files in the file section but now I don't know how to do that any more.

In emails from our group pasted images do show up! In the archives the messages gets truncated from where the images are pasted.

 Regards
 Ole
