Hello Ole,

the yellow line is the tension. I'm not an engineer, I just could not understand what happened there. That's why I thought I'd make the circuit easier and observe the natural resonance without thyristors with the oscilloscope.

I have attached the circuit. Unfortunately, I did not have a proper shunt but an analog ammeter equipped with a shunt abused for it.

I just measured from DC plus to AC and DC minus the same and then this picture can be seen. I inverted the lower current curve.

Actually, the elaborate circuit of me is no longer like the new circuit. Just one FWBR each positive and negative charge a capacitor and 2 thyristors.

I really think that you can only discharge when the voltage goes to zero, and that only seems to be after every 2 positive half wave and negative half wave.

Hector always wrote from 30cps at 60cps. Actually we have 60 positive half-waves and 60 negative half-waves at 60cps.

I discovered another strange phenomenon. When in this simple circuit instead of incandescent lamps wanted to connect a transformer and had no proper contact there was a violent rollover. I was curious and then played with it, there was almost a 10mm long arc that melted my contacts. Of course, the transverter took up extra energy, but the fact that the small coupling capacitors can transfer so much energy was very impressive.
