 Did you try making a Clem type device?
 

 My understanding is that the fluid should be really loose and available in the center and the pressure should change most right at the furthest edge of circumfrence.
 

 So two concave disks face to face and at the outer part where the nozzles are is where the pipe gets tight.
 

 Kind of like a transformer with lots of current in the center and most of the voltage rise at the far outside winding.  However there is a ratio of rise between the two disks and another at the nozzle.
 

 An interesting way to think of it as the electric metaphor as it's current into voltage but with a slope of gain more, gain staged rather than a single jump.
