$1000 a day USA electrician working in Puerto Rico

 Here is the link you asked for a few weeks ago, and this slow-talking retired marine says his nephew makes 1000 bucks a day fixing the grid in PR....along with that a bunch of armed US military or contractor guys must be with him to protect him too so also I wonder what they make a day. 
 I originally reported 3K a day, so sorry about that -electrician makes only 1K which is probably what a mechanic shop would charge these days fixing cars so that not so unreasonable but when you add-on the military escorts, probably it gets up to expenses being about 5K maybe 10KI a day to operate....of course the main point is they are not hiring Puerto Ricans to work at that wage to fix their own grid, I am sure plus Puerto Ricans would not need military escort too or it would be lots cheaper....the money to rebuild does not go to Puerto Rico, except comes back to USA mainland and contractors....also I wonder what the contractor keeps on top of the expenses in his bid...."carpet bagging" is what it is going on
