Sorry for the late answer. I've been looking for an article on an experiment showing the bending of a horizontal LASER beam during different times of day. I don't seem to be able to find that article at the moment. I think it was on the site of the following link.

The seeming deflection of light in the sought after page can perhaps be attributed to deflection of the earth when the experiment passes below the sun or moon.

The light bending experiment can be made as shown in the following two videos by passing the light beam through a liquid of differing density. The liquid consists of layers of water and sugar water:

Thus the flat earth theory isn't proved as this alternative explanation tels that light bends in the atmosphere because of its change in density from lower layers to above the atmosphere. The horizontal LASER beam deflection experiment even suggests that the Sun too deflects a beam of light.

Hi George,
If the truth is wanted use the scientific method. This way a theory is discarded in favor of a better theory. The theory best describing the issue wins. This way science progresses by getting closer to the truth when using the scientific method. As the flat earth theory can't explain a lot of observations and doesn't predict solar eclipses etc. which the sun centered theory has easy explanations and predictions for this later theory is to be preferred. Use Occam's razor to choose the simplest explanation as nature economizes its energy.
By choosing people's opinions form the debate doesn't make us come closer to the truth. Doing experiments to have nature answer questions is a much better way as proposed by the scientific method. When the answers of the experiments fit the theoretical predictions the theory works. A better theory may still come forth if the current theory doesn't explain all the experimental facts (answers). This is why theories are refined or completely discarded in favor of better theories.

Of course if there’s no wish to be enlightened all results of research can be skipped or chosen only to fit into an incomplete theory to be able to stay in the dark. We can't help you then. But don't believe you can move people into the dark when they've first been enlightened. To promote the flat earth theory it has to be better than the state of the art of the current theory.

Wait did i miss something? There was no mesurment overlay to compare the size change if any. the vid did not follow till the sun set as it would be further away and start to change in size the most at tjst point. But the vid stops before we could see what happens as it went out of view and set over the horizon. all I seen was longitude and latitude coordinates. Not an actual mesurment of the sun size as it sets. not only that but your tracking the sun. You have to have the scope fixed in the observation direction of the sun setting, And fixed in zoom. then time laps the sun as it sets with the overly mesurment graph in view as it does so. So we can watch it set as we see it move over the comparison mesurment markers. to see it change or not. this is just an opinion of observation. There's no mesurment of the sun in this vid. Wait didn't we just have this discussion that there was no vid of you with no measurements. You left out the most important mesurment of all. The sun's size. Really? You do see the problem right?

I’m sorry in advance to be a complainer but I feel it’s important to say that your logic is poor. I am not a flat earther but if you take an orange and cut it, you are just making a flat circle. And whatever is below your vantage point from the now flat part of the orange is irrelevant, as you can essentially cut that off too and you would be left with a flat round disc. The horizon, whether flat or curved does in fact need to come around and connect to itself. We are always looking down on the earth. And the higher up we go, the more curvature we should see. Just as all the photos from balloons and nasa show us. So do you think, if these balloons or nasa were to show a 360 degree shot, the horizon would not connect to itself? You can see this for yourself with your own hand, curved in a ball, in front of your face. As you turn it, the highest level of the horizon stays at eye level but from every direction, you will see curvature on the left and right side. Flat earthers are using mathematically sound equations for the curvature we should see based on the size of the earth, the viewable distance and the height of the viewpoint. Off topic, Einstein himself said either coordinate system (round or flat) could be true. Like I said I am not a flat earther. But I am not an advocate that the earth is a globe either. There is quite a bit of conflicted data for those who open their eyes and see it. And i have yet to see a good explanation for the lack of curvature that the equations show us we should see. One of my best friends, who I trust strongly, believes there is no conspiracy and he has suggested that maybe light somehow bends via gravity and that is why we do not see solid (non photo) proof and why the numerous tests over water prove that there isn’t curvature where there should be. I would be interested in an explanation along those lines. But cutting a round object and making it flat, is not a good explanation. I suggest you take the video down as it gives people false information. I also suggest the majority of flat earth videos be taken down as well as most of them (not all) use poor logic. But the curvature issue is a real problem. NASA should have stepped up and put it to bed with sound proof that doesn’t involve a great lack of actual video footage above earth, of Earth and in space. I do not believe we went to the moon, traveling 25,000 miles per hour, 250,000 miles away, in the small Apollo vessels and landed there and flew back, 50 years ago and that we lost the technology to go back there. Nor do I believe it was ok to murder millions of Jews. Nor do I believe we evolved from non life or single celled life. And yet so many people believe and or believed in these things. You can call it conspiracy or you can call it lies to benefit the liars, but either way, there are a lot of liars out there. Some people, like me, don’t care about the mocking and fear mongering used to scare people into thinking that they are stupid for questioning things. It seems to me that you are somewhere in the middle of that type and that you genuinely want to help people understand and believe that you are clearing up a problem. But it’s not cleared up. the stars prove a flat earth, otherwise your stars have to assume a "flat galaxy" and "flat solar system" which is totally retarded like a zillion coincidences in a row... so coincidental like saying my computer built itself. The southern star trail vids are shot with fish eye, highly edited and even so, there is refraction and thus stars at different elevations are effected by different amounts of refraction causing the southern curve pattern... and of course there is holography and dome lens effects too. Plus stars on the round earth system would have to be quintillions and even sextillions of miles away which is stupid as they are completely stable in the sky not refracting or being blocked in their journey.
