Dave, of three battery fame, has always touted an opposing magnet on the opposite side of the rotor to neutralize core lock. I could never get this to work in the many time I tried! Many people have charted the spin field off the top of magnets. There was one experiment I did with this and noted when I had the angle right between two neos, I could cause a voltage to appear across a solid thick copper ground bar, which is a dead short. I pulsed the center bar using a very tiny weak MHz frequency, and was able to modulate the field between the two magnets at angular skew. Ron I think that most don't see the free poles locking too. The fields reach out and lock the Wesley neutral zone used horse shoe mags so both were removed from the set up if one side is still free to influence things it will .now days we don't use them much but two neos and a soft iron bent into a horse shoe will work and if you drop some iron filings at the connected neo to iron points you can soak up the residual fields . its always made me wounded why bedini only used one side of a two sided condition .both could be put to work . this has been the elusive key to many a project! If you can imagine for a moment.. a mag in the middle of a configuration of 2 rows of magnets that does not stop. "IE, circle" look at these young mens project but then again imagine it looping. The fundamental problem has always been the initial opposing forces of both mag fields then the middle -loc then the repelling, so if the mags were angled such that they are basically repelling all the time you have something. the trick is to get past the initial opposition phase, which you already have if already inside the arrangement or 2 rows https://youtu.be/Vo2-Qb3fUYs comments please. Over on Rex's site there's a patent for motors with this off set of lock up .he said the japs all ready have commercial motors in the public area using only half of the normal power per horse power . Hi Ron Nice quick and simple experiment! it does seem to work witb magnet edges doing the repulsion at 180 drgrees to the core and magnet locking up. I wonder if finite adjustmemt to magnet-edges positioning could at specific rpms neutralize lenz law braking if the core was an air coil or a core witb coil around it and the coils are induced by sweeping magnet in generator mode to create power and tbe resultant lenz law braking. Ron thinks for the video it just may be able to be incorporated in to a standard DC motor with improvements just a add on to the shalt !
