Its self exited reluctance alternator and it operates similar to QEG and Ecklin - Brown generator  and its a mechanical MEG - MEMA  mix , the idea is the rotor have lower  lenz resistance due to
the non polarization of its rotary core under the influence  of the stator field dynamics, the energy is generated by phase shift caused by impedance change to induce self induction in the circuit result of rotation of the magnetic switch part  ( transformer steel laminate rotor ) no shorts !

the tests will give the results as this thing operates similar to a class c tube amplifier ( not a triode VTA ) quality of the experiment and construction  will determine results ... those that wasted $K of dollars in QEG may get it to work on application of this circuit to it ! they have to remove the shorted coil turns,  the bad design of the unit screw settings got  to make shorted turns in the QEG coil & core ....
